Is there a longer cable to connect the 2 speakers? Or possibly an extension cable?

I plan to run an external dac into these via balanced 4.5 to xlr. Does this ruin the onboard dsp correction?

It doesn't ruin them, but it doesn't help them either. A digital input is best for these. Otherwise your going digital to analog, back to digital, then analog again. 2 viable options for digital outputs that I purchased were a cheap PCIE Soundblaster sound card with optical out, and a Topping D10S DAC. Use what you have though, I've used these connected to RCA with vinyl and they sounded great. Note: only the D300 has XLR, those inputs aren't on the D200 and D100. Swan/HiVi, if you're reading this, you scare away customers with your answers, you could make a killing over here if you hired a native English speaker to liaise for you.

Is there a subwoofer out on these D200s? If not, how do I add a subwoofer to make a 2.1 system?

Swan, you have great speakers and we, your fans, are trying to help you with reviews. You would do better to not answer questions in English than to scare away customers by answering. To add a subwoofer, get a Topping D10s DAC, connect the digital output to your D100/200/300 and the analog output of the D10s to your subwoofer. There are better and more expensive options as well. Look up Z Reviews, then search for his subwoofer videos for an exhaustive explanation.
