Good shoe at a decent price.
These shoes run a little big. I ended up exchanging the first pair for a pair 1/2 size smaller. I am in a 9 Wide which is perfect for me. A little breakin will be required of course. According to the manufacturer the shoes are 100% leather uppers. I went out to the Cole Haan website to verify that claim and according to them they are. The soles have a rubber insert in the center bottom so they should no be too slippery. They are heavier than other loafers such as those popular ones that I won't mention that are so popular right now, but they are both stylish and yes, leather. Taken care of they should last a long time. Once broken in, they should be wearable with both dark and light slacks as well as a clean dark pair of jeans. Feels like a hit to me.
