This misquotes repplent did absolutely nothing—mosquitoes were still everywhere. No noticeable effect at all. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The Thermacell mosquito repellent effectively reduces the number of mosquitos in the area. You start it up a little while before the mosquitos will be out (in my area it's at dusk), and there are noticeably fewer mosquitos. It works best when it's not windy, so the repellent can build up rather than just blowing away. There is no scent, unlike citronella candles or spray-on repellent; and your not spraying anything directly on your skin or clothes. Hopefully it's fairly safe to breathe. ;) The 3-pack of 40-hour refills really lasts a long time, as we only use it for a few hours in the evenings if we're going to be outside. The caps can be put back on after use to minimize evaporation when not in use.

I've been using the EZone Guard system for a little while now, mainly around my patio and outdoor seating area and I've been pretty impressed with how quickly it starts making a difference. After setting it up, I noticed a clear drop in mosquitoes within a short time, which made it much more comfortable to actually sit outside without constantly swatting bugs. Its also really simple to use no sprays or mess, just set it up and let it do its thing. What I like most is the convenience factor. The refill system is easy to manage, and it feels a lot more low effort compared to traditional repellents. Its especially useful for evenings outside or small gatherings where you don't want everyone dealing with bug spray.

These refills are great, they're at mess and scent free. I love how easy they are to just open and pop into the device. We live in the humid South and this unit and these refills really keep the mosquitoes away.
