Used it in India and Nepal, just to charge my phone. Didn't use it for any heavy power requirement.

It is as described. My only quibble is that I was hoping to be able to fold down the third (grounding) prong for two-slot outlets, but when you fold it down the other two prongs fold down, too.

Great that the plugs fold into the unit. Pretty versatile with the usb plugs in front. They also work in some parts of Africa.

For Canadian and US travellers to Bangladesh, India, Kuwait, Maldives, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Yemen a Type D Travel Adapter is essential. This VINTAR Adapter has a foldable design that protect the prongs, is compact and lightweight, made of strong plastic and has the following ports. - 2 x AC with ground - 1 x USB-A (Voltage and amps not described) - 2 x USB-C (5V/3.4A) Note: max 17W, has no PD 3.0 Other information: - Has no Builtin Surge Protection which is ideal on a cruise ship - Adapter is NOT A VOLTAGE CONVERTER, and devices such has a hair dryer must support wide voltage to function properly, or may need a power voltage converter. The adapter has a nice design and will be useful on our upcoming trip to India but as the adapter has no fast charging capability, I will need to bring other adapters for specific devices I use that need fast charging.

This travel adapter for India from Vintar fits 3-pin sockets in India. The folding pins makes this adapter easier to carry on travels. This adapter has sockets for a 3-pin and a 2-pin US/Canada plug, and a USB-A and 2 USB-C ports. This adapter will work for 3-pin sockets in India, but will not work for 2-pin sockets which are also used in India. This adapter would have worked for 2 pin sockets if the folding ground pin was independent in folding from the other 2 pins. Another shortcoming is that the USB-A and USB-C ports are not PD (Power Delivery) ports. That means charging any device from these USB ports would be slow.
