Tames the beastly roar.
I bought this to quiet down a 2013 super duty 6.7 turbodiesel that had been deleted and setup as a DUAL EXHAUST with NO muffler. Roared like a herd of lions until this bad boy got put on. Now it purrs with a pleasing hum at highway speeds. In 2019 I paid $110, but now its a whopping $180. I guess its still worth it. I would buy it again. The construction is reminiscent of what a Mack driver would expect. Not stainless steel but I don't really care. The welds are perfect and the case is seamless laser weld. Standard 4" tubing fits snug at each female end. Passes rolling coal just fine.

Muffler
Great muffler.....quieted my straight piped Duramax down just right. Just enough growl left but quiet enough when driving

Works well on 4” straight pipe cummins 5.9
Product fit well where my last piece of the straight pipe before the bend over the rear axle. The end slid right over and the I used evil energy clamps to secure it. it took a lot of that choppy raw noise away and smoothed out the tone a lot. Still loud but not as irritating.

Totally worth it!
Installed on a 1999 Cummins ISC 350 in a diesel pusher. Had a new factory original muffler on and was reaching almost 1400 degrees measured in the exhaust manifold. After replacing with this muffler the highest I’ve seen is 1260. That’s 100 degrees cooler. But that is the highest. I would say overall the engine runs 150-200 degrees cooler. The sound is not noticeable. Very impressed with the sound deadening, as I was worried about being loud in an rv park. I installed with the exhaust flowing over the “clam shells”. Lots of opinions Online on what way to face the air direction. Would buy again in a heartbeat! Great price and seems solid.

Great product
Diamond eye makes good products, I put this in place of my 4in strait pipe and it took all the drone out of the cab and really quieted down my Cummins. Make sure you turn the baffles or slots in the muffler towards the turbo.

read my review before you buy!
I bought the same muffler for 56 dollars! This is not stainless steel they lie! My friend who works with all sorts of metals tested it yesterday. Complete false advertising. Not to mention the description and pictures differ from actual product you receive. The internals are basic . Not the spiral internal clam shell design. DO NOT BUY! WORKS THE SAME AS A CHEAPER ONE. I bought because I thought it may be better then what I had and the looks aswell. What a waste of money. And the shipping! Let's just say the muffler and tape is what basically showed up , there was a completely destroyed box though . I thought it was trash that blew on to my steps

Major sound difference.
I will have to say that this muffler made a major difference in the sound if the truck. It eliminated all if the high pitch noise from the turbo vanes at idle and the high boost when you are mashing the peddle. My truck used to have a drone in the cab while pulling a trailer. That is gone now. Now all I have is a deep rich tone of the engine.

It’s okay
Liked it at first but I had to take it off it tanked my MPG’s to 6 and killed my throttle response to hardly any power. I wouldn’t recommend if you use your truck for pulling trailers all the time like I do.
