Plug, play, peace of mind.
Picked this up for my son’s Steam Deck and—like everything in the Anker ecosystem—it just works. Solid build, reliable connections, no drama. The dock handles charging, display, and peripherals like it was born to.Anker has quietly become one of those brands I trust without hesitation. Their stuff doesn’t overpromise or underdeliver—it just shows up, does the job, and earns its place in your setup. If your household already runs on Anker, this dock is an easy yes. And if it doesn’t yet... it will.

Can handle everything you want to try with the Steam Deck
This hub is of excellent quality and use. I didn't know that the amount of data a hub can handle would limit the type of monitor you can hook up to the Steam Deck desktop mode. My old USB hub could only handle 4K@30fps, which apparently wasn't enough to hook up to an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor. This one does it flawlessly AND it conveniently serves as a stand for the Steam Deck. Also, if anybody is wondering, this dock will absolutely let you plug in a portable SSD via USB and let you run a bootable Windows 11 image.

Great alternative to the OEM version.
I was going to buy the official Steam Deck dock from Valve, but at $80... it gave me pause. I'm so glad I held off because this Anker dock is a perfect companion to my Steam Deck OLED.Build quality: this dock is nice and weighty. I never feel like my Deck will fall off the side table. Rubber padding protects the Deck so I never have to worry about it getting scratched up.Connectivity: The ethernet port and USB expansion ports are very welcomed additions. I haven't tested out the ethernet port yet (no room on the router) but the HDMI port works a treat. I also love the USB ports. I leave a 1Tb drive I had laying around as a dump for games I don't play often enough to warrant taking up space. And when I dock, they just pop right into the library.Setup and Use: Dead simple. Just pop it out of the box and plug in the cables you want to employ.Overall: It's very cool to have a portable steam PC that I can move from TV to TV (I have two of these docks). I also have my PC for 4K144 gaming when I need it, but I kind of prefer lounging on the sofa with a controller sometimes.

So much better than the valve dock!
I’ve had nothing but issues with the valve dock since purchasing it with my steam deck. I finally had enough and replaced it with this. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. All the odd issues in which I had to unplug and plug back in the valve dock to resolve are gone. Bonus is this dock is also just better quality. The materials are nicer and the deck fits nicer. If you need a dock or looking to replace your crappy overprice valve dock, buy this now.

Avoid This One
This worked great for the first time I used it. After that, it wouldn't work if power was being plugged into the dock. Tried two different machines with the dock, same problem. Tried my machines on my other working dock, worked fine. I was pumped to have a dock that would work in my living room for my handheld PC, I was absolutely let down when I tried to use it after the first time and having this problem.

Easy to use, but missing a specific feature I assumed it would have.
Does do what it states technically, but I bought this assuming it could do 1440p when hooked up to the steam deck, but the option for 1440p was not there. When I plugged a different dock into the steam deck with the same monitor, I had the option for 1440p, so I don't know what the problem was, but this stand/dock does not seem to do 1440p with the steam deck in my experience.

Not much else to it. Just really good at doing its thing
Great organizing station that makes casual playing on a workstation great (bought a wireless controller) and easy charging accessibility.

Works Great
For those having issues, there is a display setting to allow safe external resolutions. Turn that on if you're having output issues.
