This is a great field cleaning kit specifically tailored to models of the AR15.The rods are steel so I would not use this for a majority of my rifle cleaning, but it won't bend as easy as the aluminum or brass rods. the T handle folds to make it more compact.I am not a fan of the 1960s era bag the kit comes in so I am going to replace it, but I like all of the contents. I have ordered the One Tigris tool wrap and will see how well that works for me.You will not get very many patches but who cares. Good kit!

Very nice cleaning kit. Very much like what we used in the Army. I am especially happy that the patch holder is steel.

I bought a couple to put in my hunting vehicles, and the only thing they will be used for is in case of emergency, clearing mud out of a barrel or the like. There are much better cleaning sets out there for regular maintenance, but I'd rather have one of these decent clones of the GI kit in the truck when I need it, than have a great set up sitting useless on the bench at home.I screwed the rod sections together, and they lined up okay.

Strong rods but the adapter for civilian jigs doesn't work like the milspec does.

For all of the old GI's from the "Nam era this cleaning kit is what most of them were issued. No pull thru ropes. A simple everything you need for field cleaning your M-16 or M-4. A small bottle for lubricant but no bottle of solvent. There's room to put your own in there. Toothbrush with small and large bristles for scrapping, copper bore brush, cleaning rod and patches. All you need in a small handy OD field kit.
