My favorite piece! I'm a bit delayed in my review, but after wearing it for a few months now, I am quite certain its every bit as good as I believed it to be when I first got it for Christmas. I wear this every day and just think it's beautiful. I love that it has two openings for pictures. I added a longer chain to it, but the chain it came with works fine too. It's beautifully made and arrived quickly and in great condition. My little boys always ask me to open it, they enjoy seeing their pictures. I did notice that the little metal clasps that go over the inserted picture can be popped out pretty easy, so whenever I open the locket I am conscious to press down on the circular ring and make sure they're snapped in. Not a big deal in my book since the locket door stays shut and it sturdy, I'm not worried. Highly recommend!

I love this locket. I wear it a couple of times per week. It is about the size of a half dollar and is very nicely made. I love the thickness of the chain and the larger size of the locket. You can easily cut a circle out of a regular size picture to put your loved ones inside the locket. I took a 4x6 picture of my kids and cut it according to the template inside of the locket and it worked perfectly. You have to use a pin to release the cover on each side of the locket in order to place the pictures. I think this is a great value for a larger size locket. The quality is good and it is pretty - an added bonus!

I really like the locket and it looks like it is good quality. However it took a long time to load the plastic window over the picture. The clasp is very small, and I had to have a jeweler replace it for $30.

Perfect I was unsure about buying this locket. Although it's beautiful, I didn't see many positive reviews or pictures of it from customers, and I was looking for a larger locket. Once it arrived I took several pictures and was very happy ! This is a statement necklace, really big, sturdy, and will fit pictures of 33mm diameter, which is a great size if you want something that you can actually see. i really love the size but the engraving is my favorite part, is very classy and it has an antique touch. I found it pretty easy to put pictures on, open and close (very simple and not defective), and it came with absolutely no defects (saw someone complaining about on reviews). The locket itself weighs approximately 9g, and with the chain, it weighs 11g. The chain is very thin, and although I believe it's a good fit with the locket, it might break easily. I haven't used it for so long to make any comments about the oxidation of the silver, but It came marked as 925, so I believe once it gets a bit dark, you can easily clean it as I do with all my other silver jewelry. I'm very happy with this necklace, is definitely giftable, great packaging and very beautiful!

Disappointed

I went ahead and ordered this despite some of the bad reviews and I am very pleased.Fortunately for me I got one that was refurbished so I did not pay full price.But it is in great shape,very sturdy,the neclace is thin but sturdy and the locket is beautiful and well made.The locket closes nice and tight and is the size of a half dollar and their is little plastic picture frames(2)for pictures.Its well made not cheap at all.Im happy with it and if I had paid full price i would be just as pleased.It is Sterling silver.

I have had this necklace for over 6 years and it has not oxidize in the least, the details are beautiful. I really like this as a gift cause the space for the picture is quite big. However, the locket is quite big as mentioned so if your looking for something more subtle this is not for you. You can add pictures on both sides, which is quite nice.

I was able to open the locket and place pictures in it. Also, the locket design and quality were very nice.

Looks wonderful, delivery was timely and secure. Was a delightful gift for a very special person.
