Yes it is the replacement you want. The number you gave was the same battery wand loaded with batteries. Ours does not come with batteries.

The product itself says "use AA alkaline batteries." Can one use lithium batteries?

Not sure I know the diff but mine are standard AA batteries and that is how the original was as well. All I’ve ever tried

The alta platinum 2.0 battery pack version 2 says it replaces my old part #2920499000 . But these don't work. Why? The blinds are hunter douglas.

If your PowerRise shade has stopped working it is usually one of the problems: 1. Reset Shade Limits - Lower Shade completely. If the motor is not responding then you will have to pull bottom rail down slowly. This is a hard pull so make sure you don't pull the blind out of the window. The blind will unwind slowly down as you pull. Once shade is fully lowered, point the remote controller at the IR-Eye in Headrail or Satellite eye and press the Down button (on the remote controller) for 5+ seconds then hit the up button. If the shade does not respond then see steps 2-4. 2. Shade has no power - Replace the batteries. Check the battery tube with volt meter. If one battery is installed backward the wand won't work.
