Ideal for 47x47 wooden posts.
Bought 6 for some wooden posts for Garden. 50mm x 50mm met posts were ideal for my 47 x47 wooden posts. They slotted snuggly in and as the wood swells they will tighten up. I thought I would have to secure the wooden posts to the met posts with screws but it wasn't necessary for my needs. Use a baulk of wood on the top of the met posts as they are hammered in to avoid damaging the metal.
