v1.5 Portable Spice Dispenser with Built-In Straw

The first thing I immediately notice is the very lovely cherry wooden box. Upon opening the box you see the instruction manual, & ibumpi device with a nice laser engraving. Behind the user manual are two convenient loading funnel cards. Beneath the device I find a host of tools, extra pieces, and a reflective ibumpi sticker (score!). The device itself is solid and feels premium to the touch. I can tell that the device is not made wih cheap materials. There's a clear glass vial for loading your cacao/snuff, or if you prefer they also include an amber vial as well. The vial is easy to unscrew from the device and fits snug into the compartment. I can see a nice gasket where the vial connects to the device and dispenses the powder below. The bottom of the device has a hole where the powder can either fall out the bottom, or you can plug the hole with your finger and use the built-in straw to inhale/sniff. The hole at the bottom is cutout into the ibumpi logo and looks like a cat, how awesome, love that little detail there. There's a cutout in the device to see how much cacao/snuff is left n your vial, so you don't have to unscrew it, very convenient. Dispensing is relatively consistent. The amount dispensed can be controlled by holding the button down for a short or long time. The longer the press, the bigger the pile. Nice feature to control dosing. Filling the device with the provided funnel cards is straight forward and simple. One caveat is that you have to be careful to not overfill or spill when filling with the funnel cards. Maybe they can offer a silicone funnel or something to remedy the spillage. I was immensely surprised how much cacao I could fit into the vial. Much more than a traditional snuff bullet. What a major convenience for me tbh. The included straw works better than I expected. With traditional bullets the powder will hit the back of my nose. I think because of the U shape that ibumpi uses, it softens the hit in my nose and feels less harsh than a traditional snuff bullet. Super happy I decided to get this device! I noticed they updated their design from version 1.0 to 1.5 prior to me purchasing. I'm hoping they continually develop and create more features for their future devices. Looking forward to what they come up with. One thing I would recommend is that they include a pipe cleaner or similar to clean out the vials. I went and grabbed pipe cleaners from the dollar store and they work well. Elegant, inconspicuous, and compact to use wherever. No more funny looks from passerby, using my cacao in style 😎

I initially had an issue with the dispenser I purchased due to a faulty gasket, but I have to say, the company's customer service was exceptional. They responded to my concerns instantly and even sent me a replacement unit in no time. The new dispenser works perfectly, and I'm very happy with the product. The communication was prompt, professional, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. It's rare to find such excellent customer care these days. Highly recommend both the product and the company!

I’m trying to figure out how to get ahold of some kind of customer service. Great product and very innovative. However, the first night experimenting with it, the diaphragm got stuck open. I read to use the spare one as well and there was not one, I looked everything including my carpet on hands and knees for far too long haha. Today I fished a piece of the packaging out and it mention a “white diaphragm?” And that’s something I never even saw a place for as I dissected the apparatus, as I did see where additional blue ones would seat. Either way, I only ever had the one blue one and supper bummed bc it was really rad while it lasted. Please pardon the rambling, my main point was to get in touch with someone and see if there are extra diaphragms for sale or something to show this off to friends. For the price it’s definitely downer for such a short romp and had to unscrew vial because it just kept spilling everywhere without pushing as intended.

Update: Seller reached out and offered a fair resolution. The tool that came with my device is rusted. For the price this thing should be perfect. The dispenser works, but not consistently. Perhaps if you live in a very very dry climate, it may work reliably. Moisture is the enemy here. Keep it in a dry place and it will work. Doubling up the gaskets help too.

Was missing straw and doesn’t have good suction so need to turn it upside down in order to dispense it won’t do it if it’s right side up
