My LG L125 flip phone fits perfectly in this holster. It is very sturdy and the Velcro closing is very strong. The belt clip is adequate and I have no fear of it falling off.

I just received this item today, so this is my first impression. I notice that many one & two star reviews complain about this item's sturdiness/durability so I'll be writing a second review after I have worn this item daily for a month or two. [Update, 11/26/15: I've worn this every day for nearly 4 months. It has proven very durable, no tears, opening seams, holes etc. It's a great buy] I'm using it with a "vintage" Samsung T139 flip phone (3-3/4" x 1-7/8" x 3/4"). The pouch is a little deep for my phone so I've cut off a 1-inch piece of the plastic, foam block packed inside the pouch (I guess so the pouch keeps its shape during shipping). The pouch came nicely packed in a sealed plastic sack. The sides of the pouch are elastic and my phone fits fairly snugly, it would not accommodate a phone much thicker than mine. The Velcro catch is tight. What I really like about this pouch is the carry option. For belt carry, one can carry it vertically (2-1/2" wide belt maximum) or horizontally (1-3/4" wide belt maximum) by using one of the nylon belt loops on the back. I don't normally wear a belt to I prefer to use the metal belt clip. To keep the pouch from sliding off the waist band of my trousers, I sew a large button on the inside of the waist band where I carry the pouch. When I slide the belt clip onto the waist band of my trousers I slide the button into the slot in the middle of the metal clip, just as if the slot were a button hole. I have been doing this for years with a previous belt pouch with the same metal clip and have never had a pouch fall off. You don't need to do a great job of installing the button as nobody sees it. There is also a small ring that could be attached to a carabineer or some other sort of clip. There is also a little elastic loop sewn on one side for a stylus, pen or pencil. One last note. Looking out the dimensions given for this item, they are more like 4-1/2" x 2-1/2 x 1-3/4" , including the metal clip with a phone inserted. It's 1/2" thick when empty and compressed. I've seen similar pouches at local brick & mortar stores twice as much and more. I am very pleased with this item, would buy it again and currently recommend it. [Update 11/26/15: Still pleased.]

As a stubborn, “basic phone” holdout, I’m always on the watch for a good holster. This passes muster, 200 proof. I own an LG Octane, still one of the best flip phones ever invented. Although an Octane does stick out of the holster a bit, the flap still has enough room for the Velcro to snag securely. By comparison #1, we have an old LG enV Touch laying around, and while that was a neat blend of flip phone and touchscreen, it’s just a hair too long for this holster. (If anyone knows a good holster for the enV Touch, lemme know) Comparison #2, I found in a drawer my mid-2000s LG VX3200, which was shorter and fatter than the Octane, and it also fits, so maybe other traditional, vertical, flip phones might fit. The main thing I cannot address is long-term durability, since I just got them for Christmas 2019, so I left those rating stars blank. But in the meantime, they feel well-made, not cheap junk. Price was awesome and shipping was swift.

fit my flip phone ok. Case is a little stiffer material compared to my other case also slightly larger. this could be why the bad reviews are complaining of the case tearing. I keep it in my pocket during most and no problems so far.

I use it for a flip phone. My phone kept falling out of my old case and then go run over in the driveway. Spring clip for belt could be tighter, but overall works well. Velcro is holding up well for now.
