The tevlaphee steering wheel lock is made of heavy duty metal and feels very solid in the hands. It’s weighty enough to give confidence but not so heavy that it’s awkward to handle. The adjustable length means it fits different steering wheels easily, and the foam covering helps avoid scratches on the wheel. Locking and unlocking are straightforward the keys slide in smoothly, and the mechanism feels sturdy without any looseness. The bright finish makes it visible through the windscreen, which acts as a strong deterrent. It also doubles as an emergency hammer with a pointed tip, which is a useful extra safety feature, though I haven’t needed to use it. During use, it sits firmly on the wheel and doesn’t rattle when driving short distances (if you need to reposition the car). Storage is simple enough; it fits in the boot or behind a seat when not in use.Overall, it’s a well-built, reliable anti-theft device that adds an extra layer of visible and physical protection.

Delivery was on time and it was well and securely packaged. When you unpacking it, you will find two main parts of the steering wheel lock that get easily sliding into each other to form the locking system. There are 3 keys for the lock inside the package that is plenty for any possible circumstances that you may loose your original key. I have bought the red colour that looks very nice with my car's black interior. This is a strong and well built system, yet easy to lock/unlock by just turning the key and sliding the locking arm in/out. There are self adhesive strips to stick on the locking jaws, if you want to be extra careful about damaging your steering wheel's fabric/leather. The included instructions is easy to follow.

Certainly a study lock with easy installation and easy removal. Lock when fitting properly is extremely sturdy. Not sure how well the lock would hold up to a drill or similar, but for the price as a simple deterrent/time delay it's great. Comes with multiple keys in case you lose one. The spike on the end looks like it could certainly smash a window incase of an emergency also. The only negative thing about this product is that if you have the spike attached, be careful you don't smash it into your windscreen when installing.

I wanted a steering wheel lock to compliment the pedal lock I already have on my classic LandRover. The TEVLAPHEE I have to fits the bill pretty well. It is if a robust ‘chunky’ construction, the build quality is good but it’s USP has to be the speed and ease of its fitment. It takes literally seconds to put on. I don’t know how long the foam handle will stand up to constant use but it’s never going to restrict its ultimate aim. Would recommend

This steering lock is high quality, and easy to use, the fact everyone has a different lock &key definitely gives ease of mind and it’s a visual deterrent for thief’s. It’s not too heavy but heavy enough for self defence (if needed) and real easy to remove and apply. Great value for money.

It appears to be a well made sturdy item which would deter most car thieves but I would not know until someone had a go at stealing my car. You need to take car when putting it on and taking it off as it is a bit unkind to the steering wheel. Otherwise a good item. M.
