Well made, classy stanchions.
These are perfect stanchions that look great and work well. They are constructed out of high quality durable stainless steel and are very stable. The flannel ropes are highly noticeable and smooth to the touch, and the clips used to attach to the posts are strong and reliable. I like these stanchions. They are well made, look great and work perfectly.

Posts are too light
Posts are too light to hold the weight of the ropes. One post was damaged. The base needs to be much heavier - not safe to control public line-ups. Topple over way too easily.

Look good but cheaply made
Will likely suit my needs for the home theater, but am disappointed in the overall quality. Despite what others say, the metal is rather thin (feels more like tin than steel). And don't plan to fill the bases with sand...they don't include any plugs!

Do not buy
Grabbed the pole to move it, very sharp where the rope clamps in, probably gonna need a stitch or two, would post a pic but it is gross and deep. You have been warned
