Purchase for my one and a half-year-old visit but perfect size! Love it and lots of compliments on it.

Review: Poor Quality – Falling Apart in Weeks! I bought this Elmo backpack as a Christmas present, and it barely lasted 1.5 months before the strap started fraying. It’s only used twice a week as a daycare bag (Monday and Tuesday), meaning it mostly sits in a locker or by the entryway. Yet, despite such light use, the strap is already hanging by a thread and is about to fall apart completely. For the price and brand, I expected much better durability. A kids’ backpack should be built to last, not fall apart with minimal use. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend!

My little guys have been using these all year for preschool and they look just as great as the first day. Great quality. I recommend getting the second size up (not the smallest) if you want it to fit a lunch kit and change of clothes. Still too small to fit ski pants but might get a bigger size next year for that.
