Doraemon: Gadget Cat from the Future, Vol. 1

At first I wasn't sure what state the volume would come in, but I'm satisfied with the results. Normally, manga volumes are in digest form but this was more slim than I thought. Despite this, it's height and size is perfect.

Really nice to be able to get a manga from Doaremon merch. that's not a downloadable one used for Androids or Kindles. I can have one in hand, even if it's not the actual official English manga you can get on the Kindle, it's a great collectors piece for a Doraemon fan and I plan on getting all of them.

I don’t know much about these books but my 9 year old loves them so that’s good enough for me!

This is such a fun read for kids, we have used comics to get non readers excited about reading. This book is backwards so you’ll have to teach them the concept of traditional manga but it helps keep them active in reading.

It is funny and entertaining but some pages are written but I love doraemon one of my favorite animes.

great buy. its in very good condition wraped in bubble wrap and I have tons of fun reading it

I bought this book (and the other 2 in the series) to encourage my daughter to do some reading in English. The translation is a little ropey in places, especially when trying to translate formal Japanese like よろしくお願いします type stuff. Overall, though, the words chosen are easy to understand. Personally, I'd prefer if there wasn't a Japanese translation above the text, as my daughter's Japanese reading is better than her English and she sometimes reads the Japanese instead! But I guess I could fix with some whiteout if I really wanted.

英文と漫画の枠外に日本文あって勉強になります。CDあればもっといいが値段は高くなるだろうね。
