Brushtech Coffee Grinder (2 Pack) Dusting Brush

We recently purchased a new brush after many years dissatisfied after the "natural" brush's early demise. Or, exit to the nearest disposal unit! Buying a new grinder recently, we carefully choose this one because it was affordable, non-natural, and it might work. Who knows? Had to quickly let others know: this brush does the job, holds up under constant use, and serves the purpose. It may not be natural, or the Best; but, it works better than our previous, pricey "natural" brush. Gave it Four-Stars: it should be 4.5 on the Five point scale. Price was not used as criteria.

I found this brush only marginally helpful in cleaning my grinder. I have a capresso burr grinder. The brush is helpful in cleaning the plastic part where the whole beans go before being ground. But the bristles are too bushy and long to clean most of the grinder. I could use something in between these long bushy bristles, and the short brush that came with my grinder.

It can be hard to clean the grounds that cling to the hopper of my Kitchenaid Proline Burr Coffee Mill. This brush helps make the job easier. The bristles have the right stiffness and I haven't seen any bristles falling out so far.

The long bristles on this brush usually clean easily and thoroughly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is simply because the nice medium-soft bristles do not do as well with grinds that occasionally get hard-caked in inside corners. Those take a cheap brush with shorter stiffer bristles to remove more easily But, this one will do the job, and it's overall the best brush I've used.

As a couple of other reviewers mentioned, the bristles could be a little stiffer. If it was, it would be perfect. It cleans out my burr grinder okay, but there's a few nooks and crannies where this brush is a little too flexible and can't dig out every speck of the coffee dust & grinds. Overall it performs okay.

I'm using a small Krups grinder, and my only complaint was that it was impossible to clean. The bristles on this brush are firm enough to keep hold of coffee grinds but flexible enough to slide in and catch what's under and beside the blades of the grinder. If you are looking for an inexpensive brush to get coffee grindings, dirt or dust out of a small space, this will serve you well.

The bristles are too flopsy to really get at my burr grinder. If there were more "hairs" or they were more compacted, it would improve their stiffness I suspect. I kept it as I didn't want to deal with the trouble of returning. In order to use it, I have a rubber band tightly holding the bristles together so it's actually useful...it works that way, but it's not ideal.

... I wish the bristles were just a little firmer. The bristles on this brush are rather soft, so they bend easily and don't always get all of the fine dust and grinds that get caught in the nooks, crannies, seams and creases of my grinder and grounds receptacle. Otherwise, it's a decent brush. The yellow bristles definitely stand out in the utensils drawer. Mine has a black body/handle.

I have a Braun grinder with several internal ledges and curves where coffee 'dust' collects and can be a bit of a pain to loosen up and brush out. I've been looking for years for the perfect brush (i.e. stiffer bristles without being too stiff). This brush is a little stiffer than many but alas is still not quite stiff enough for my needs so my search continues. My rating only reflects my needs as I suspect for many others it will be exactly what they are looking for.

I really like this brush and it works as good or better than described. I've got a crack in the plastic cup where the bristles protrude from. This occurred when I was tapping the brush against my grinder to get the grinds to fall into the filter. Likely my fault, but it's not as if I was hammering it.

This brush is fantastic. Works amazingly well. Highly recommended.
