I don't know what material it is but it works very well with the sod cutter (Ryan sod cutter)

That blade is made specifically for a Ryan Junior sod cutter so I would say no it will not fit A different manufactures machine

If it’s 18” long and have the same bolt pattern yes - We love ours have not had a problem yet- it was a perfect fit - hope this was helpful
