Water supply from the town is filled with chlorine and tastes bad. We have tried Brita and they did a okay. Still had a taste of chlorine though. So I search for the best water filtration solutions. Waterdrop brand was one of the top choices. We have had it about a week now. What a difference! No chlorine taste and I am not filling up a pitcher twice a day only to have traces of chlorine left in the water. Setup was easy, be sure to follow the direction. And as I learned the hard way...didn't read directions...DON'T try filling the top chamber again until you have used the filtered water in the lower chamber. It will leak. I bought the 2.25 gallon and have enjoyed great water. Waterdrop has used high quality stainless steel and it looks nice on the end our counter. NOTE: I recommend getting the $28 stand to raise the unit off the counter for ease of use.

SUPER PLEASED!!! it was nice that it arrived a day early. It was also very easy to assemble . The size was perfect . The water tasted very smooth and clean. It was a great value. Also very pleased with how nice the water flows. Great functionality .

This is a glorified water pitcher filter It implies that it provides safe water while camping- you have to ask Rufus specifically to learn that it does not purify bacteria or viruses. EXTREMELY MISLEADING Quote from manual that I read while putting it together- “ do not use with microbiologically UNSAFE or unknown quality water without adequate disinfection before or after the system” Very dissatisfied “

Super easy to set up, this filter system produces clear, almost tasteless water quickly. It’s super sturdy and even looks nice sitting on my island. My tap water is heavily chlorinated and loaded with silt. This filter does a great job at removing chlorine and silt and anything else that might be in the water.

set the unit on a metal clothes dryer support the put a clean waste can underneath to catch excess water, it is real easy to overfill, the nozzle does really well, you can get a water distiller or two the put the water through the filter. It will hold about 5L give or take which is enough for one person per day, if you have a large family you should get one per adult and for every two children one so in a family with a grown teenager and two younger children you should get 4 all together and personalize them with stickers to let them know which one to use, you should have two distillers per each filter system so you need 8 distiller machines and 4 distillers for a family of 5 in my opinion.

You should know that the water on the top chamber does 'not' empy all the way and leaves about 1.5 inches of standing water. Since this does not fit in the fridge, mold, bacteria, fungus are invited to grow in standing room temperature water. If you don't use this every day or go out of town for a week, this is an issue. I choose not to drink any extra micro organisms hanging out in standing water. I would be more responsible if the company would clearly explain time limits for standing water, dry out times, etc. If I had know this beforehand I would not have bought it.

I have 2 units, one in the kithen and one just outside my bathroom, each sitting on decorative plant stands with shelves. I live in a small apartment that does not have the plumbing for under counter filters nor a faucet that will accomodate the countertop unit of my choice. I have 2 because II use A LOT of water. I got tired filling one every other day.

The flow is great, and the setup was fine, but the water taste is a little bit worse than I was hoping
