4 1/2 Billion Years Of Perspective On One Chart
I like this chart. It provides a way to put ancient events into perspective. The fact that dinosaurs lived from about 200 MYA (million years ago) to 65 MYA is interesting, but without this chart it is an isolated fact and doesn’t relate to other events and periods in Earth’s history. OK – maybe you have to be a little ‘individualistic’ to care about such things but I do and this chart provides the perspective. For instance it shows first life forms at 3.5 BYA (yes – billion), about 1 B years after the Earth took recognizable form, and shows first complex life forms 3 B years after that at 0.5 BYA. Fascinating stuff (to me), particularly when you compare that to first emergence of humans only 200,000 years ago. A humbling perspective.

Many errors, hard to read
Paleozoic era identified as an eon, Precambrian identified as an era, Triassic period spelled "trassic" twice, phanerozoic eon not included. Light colors make this chart very hard to read.

Excellent teaching aid
This is a geological Time scale. Lamination is not as thick as some other teaching aids I have although the others are two sided. This has only one side and I will be putting this on the wall. Very clear and colorful. Mind blowing information.

Hard To Read, Beautiful To Look At
It worth the money but is difficult to read because they used light colored print (small) on a light background. But they did not clutter it up by adding so much information as to make it unreadable. It was well laid out except for the colors.

Has good info, not so easy to read.
It has the info I wanted on a chart. It is rather difficult to read due to small print and not very much contrast.Something twice as big would be nice.,

Compact chart.
Nice clean progressions in the chart, compact display.
