Far to sweet with little gooseberry tast..
Far to sweet overriding any gooseberry taste or tartness. More sugary taste and little gooseberry zing. Will not reorder. Recommend tgey adjust thier formulation to less sugarvand more fruit.

Disappointing Waste and Mess
Item leaked profusely from packaging and could not be used or returned. Would appreciate being sent intact product from manufacturer.

Not TART enough.
Not tart enough and not enough gooseberry "oomph" in it. I bought this because it says it is "traditional," and reviewers said it was "not too sweet." I was hoping it could bring back those delicious tastes of home-made gooseberry jams and pies from childhood. Alas. One hardly knows that this is gooseberry on tasting it, and one is lucky if one can catch a slight after-taste of gooseberry. Credit to the company for at least trying to supply this hard-to-find flavor, but this did not cut it for me. Every hopeful bite is a disappointment.
