HELLA H4 YL Xtreme Yellow Bulb (12V 60/55W), 2 Pack

I have an old Tacoma and it has had its original headlights which clouded pretty bad over the decades. Got LED lights for them and I hated them, too bright, and the line between what was lit up and the darkness was a hard, sharp line, and it sucked. I live in the middle of a national forest in the Rockies. I wanted yellow lights to help cut through snow and fog better. I got new headlight housings and got these. I was afraid they'd be way too yellow and look like a brodozer's weekend off road rig. They're actually quite a nice color, not white by any means, but not overly yellow. They light up my way really well, easy on the eyes, can see the terrain a lot better at night than with a white light, and they don't blind people as much coming the other way so I am not getting flashed by oncoming traffic in the middle of the forest at night anymore. I don't want to buy any other bulb.

If you want yellow halogen bulbs these are the ones to get. I buy this bulb as needed and the last pack I ordered was in 08/21. Great longevity with H4 plug and play. Buy the original Hella blister 2-pack as shown. I have tried Hella Optilux for my vintage Rover and frankly, the yellow is somewhat pale compared to the Hella H4 YL. Why yellow you ask? Less reflection/glare during bad weather or long trips at night so less tiring on the eyes. I will always buy as long as in production.

Plug and play pretty bright for a halogen bulb, took longer to take the headlight housing off than to put in the bulb. Love the yellow color.

Not as bright as the led bulbs I've tried but these have a wayyy better spread of light especially for my drz400. Would buy another box in a heartbeat. More of a amber color than like a *Led yellow* but I love them

Hella + extreme , those two words are a bit of an exaggeration honestly, they are yellow. Yes no doubt,… hella yellow? No. Just basically more brighter and couple notches more yellow then a basic halogen bulb. Yes there yellow . Just not extreme. Not hella yellow , see my photos . I have white/blue 8k headlight with the yellow on bottom. No flickering either. Bright.

Very disappointed with these lights after I did all the work to get them on my car they're not as advertised these are not extreme yellow they're extremely White. If you look at my picture my yellow ones are in the bottom and these hella H4 yellow extreme little bulbs are on the top and they look very white factory and bright. If it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to do the work to take them out and repackage everything I would send them back I'm very disappointed.

Works as intended, think I may tint my housing yellow and go HID

Bought for my Suzuki DL650 as I wanted it to be a little different. Surely stands out now, happy with the fitment and it is still lasting so far! In the day it looks very subtle, at night you can clearly see the colour difference. Overall happy!

Very soft on the eyes for both you, pedestrians and other drivers on the road. Please check with your local laws to confirm if these are legal for on road use in your local area. The yellow light that is emitted is very pleasant to look at. Very long lasting bulbs, light up the road as expected and installed within minutes. These work great in all weather conditions.

Delivered a whole lot faster than I expected was a good start. Bulbs were well packed and in very good condition on arrival, with no damage whatsoever. These hella yellow H4 were bought to use in my VW Scirocco after the previous bulbs, Osran NightBreaker Plus, gave up and popped after about 4 years of use. On comparison, the design of the two types in terms of filament size and position looked absolutely identical so I felt a sense of confidence that the new Hella Yellow would give a good beam pattern and cutoff. After installation all I can say is “Wow”! They are equally bright as the Osram NightBreaker, equal beam pattern and cutoff but that glorious golden colour :) My Scirocco looks like a GT3 car! They give much higher contrast at night so everything looks clearer and sharper and they don’t dazzle oncoming traffic even when using full beam. These are my favourite bulbs I’ve ever used and now I want matching H3 ones to use in my foglights. Highly Recommended

Eins vorweg, es ist für Deutschland erlaubt und hat sogar eine e1 (Germany) Zulassung und bedruckung. Die farbe ist im Scheinwerfer schön Goldgelb und nicht zu Gelb wie man es erwarten würde anhand des Produkt Fotos. Die Ausleuchtung ist einfach sehr gut und man sieht super damit. Hab mich für Gelb entschieden, weil man weder Xenon noch LED nachrüsten kann bei meinem Auto und das Gelb echt bei jedem Wetter die Schilder super ausleuchtet. Sie sind gelber als die hier in Deutschland erhältlichen Allwetter-Birnen und haben auch ein störendes Blau/lila drinnen wie schlecht koppierte Xenon Birnen. Der Preis ist zwar recht hoch, aber dafür hat man keine Kopfschmerzen beim Zoll, Versand usw.
