Fantastic little Venturi
Easy to use and clean. Was dripping on first use, but that was used error - make sure you push it in the bottle fully enough to get the seal!

Leaks badly!
I bought it by looking at overall great reviews but I have to say that no matter how hard I tried, pouring slow or fast, using a particular angle, it still leaks from the small aeration holes (not from the bottle's mouth). It does enhance the taste of the wine and generally works but the substantial leaks make it impossible to use. It's also dangerous, as you can easily damage your furniture! Beware!

Es un buen arreador, hace muy bien su función pero si ladeas un poco la botella para servir se derrama el vino por los orificios del Venturi

Provides very little aeration bubbles wen pouring sweet sherry wines like Pedro Ximenez. Probably because this type of wine is dense, but other aerators work well.

Update - 2/4/2024 I am buying my 3rd one! The 1st I used at a friend's house and gave it to her. The 2nd, I used for about 3 months, and then the dog ate it. I am hoping the 3rd with survive a bit longer, I really like it! Note: I also have a decanter that works well but takes longer. I use the Vinturi to pour the wine into the decanter. It gets a little more time to aerate and I can rinse and put the Vinturi away (hopefully where the dog can't get it). First, read the instructions! This gadget works very well, but you must follow the directions! Briefly: Open the wine bottle Insert gadget into the bottle firmly, it should not be loose or wiggly. Pour the bottle at a 45° angle, bottom end up, into a wine glass. If your are nervous about the gadget falling out, hold it with a couple fingers. Do not block any of the small holes! When it is working, you will hear a sort of sucking sound as air is drawn in and mixed into the wine. In the glass, the wine will have lots of bubbles on the surface - it almost looks carbonated. The bubbles will go way and your wine will taste much better than straight from the bottle. Note: This is for RED wines only! Other wines do not need aeration.

Aérateur à vin très pratique à l’usage. Il se place directement au niveau du goulot de la bouteille et permet d’aérer le vin au moment du service, sans passer par l’étape du carafage. La prise en main est simple, rapide, et cela fonctionne bien pour une dégustation immédiate. Solution intéressante pour gagner du temps, surtout quand on n’a pas envie ou pas la possibilité d’utiliser une carafe.
