Excellent product
I love these caps. I've had some problems with the "objective lens" flip-ups that Butler Creek sells, but never these rear caps. Excellent product at a reasonable price. Since these are so good and the objective covers are a gamble, I sometimes put one of these up front if I can match the right size. A little more awkward to open, but well worth the trouble (you just have to reach over).

I have found the ROUND covers to be fine, but pay attention to each "click" while ordering
The cover I received was OVAL, not round. This was not spelled out clearly in the steps prior to selecting this. I have found the ROUND covers to be fine, but pay attention to each "click" while ordering, so you get the shape you are looking for.

wrong size
fit was 3 sizes too small, there was no chart with the first cap ordered to size with. A chart needs to become available with this product, now I don't know what to ask for.

Not what I was expecting
Seems like all the cool kids have these on their scopes, so I decided to drink the kool-aid. The eye-piece cover isn't very nice. I figured the red "button" was spring loaded, it's not the the button just kinda flops around while the cover is flipped up. Minor gripe I know, but for something so popular I was expecting better

Reason being the Nikon are crap and they kept flipping up
I got these to replace the Nikon flip ups that came on my Monarch. Reason being the Nikon are crap and they kept flipping up. Well guess what, these things are not any better they are actually worse.

Not worth your money !!!
Every cover I have ever bought has broken. The part on this product that holds the cover piece to the body piece where it bends, is poorly made. The plastic material is so soft and cheap, if you snag it on something it tears, or breaks off. Surely they could have come up with a more durable design that could take the punishment of a long hard deer season. But if you break it, you can bet they bank on the ideology that you will be dumb enough to go out and buy another one. I played right into there hands. But never again! This product is cheaply made, with cheap materials and built to break, over and over again. I'm sure someone will say well mine has never broken. I say that person is a fair weather hunter who doesn't get down in the thick stuff where real hunters go. Probably drives right up to their deer stand or fancy box stand and climbs stairs to their cushy heated chair. But if you get out in the hood swamp and hunt hard, I guarantee this product will break. And when you go to close it, and you find its not there, check your trail. You'll find it on the ground somewhere. If, and that's a big if, they ever make this product out of good durable material that can take on the sticks and jungle, and still come out in one piece, I might buy one. But for now, I tell everyone I know to not waste there money. Oh ya, if you've never owned one, and you see someone with one, ask them how many they've had that has broken. But Butler Creek is in the business to make money. How do they do that? They hope you'll keep buying them. A sucker is born every day. Carry on.
