Zodiac Academy 1: The Awakening (Volume 1)

i absolutely loved this world!! if you like forbidden/bully romance, magic, academy stories, elements (fire,water,earth,air), family and friendships I highly recommend this series!!!

I read all of these books. Really loved the series but felt there could have been a couple fewer books. A couple of the books seemed like filler.

The book came in new condition. I have been listening to this series and I love it so much I just had to have the first book in paperback. And bonus it has a map.

I got this book because I love the fantasy genre and this series in the dark academia subgenre is really popular on the internet...I see great reviews everywhere. And, full disclosure, this is my first dark academia read. But, I'll admit I really struggled with this book. It's an easy read and it goes fast...I finished it in no time flat. But I thought the intro into the story went too fast and then I literally loathed every character in it. The world is so nasty and rough...something of a Harry Potter in college where even the professors are mean and weird. I do appreciate the world the authors have created...not an easy task. The various shift forms, spells, and empty throne storyline is very good. WHICH IS WHY even though I struggled with this book, I went and bought the next one. I just need to see where the story goes which, I guess, is score one for the authors. If you've never read dark academia before, I'm going to say this is probably a good place to start.

Started reading immediately. Already hooked. But the cover is very thin, paper like. I’m afraid it’s going to tear.
