Good drives
Very well packed. Nice drives.

Noisy drives
Fortunately these arrived in a working state, unlike some others. But after months and months of trying to get these to stop making noise every 3-4 secs in a Asustor NAS, it turns out its own self protection is keeping the drive active even when the drive has zero data on it. FYI yes Asustor NAS have issues with SSD caching and Roon App issues which accesses all drives, I have never used or activated either. Wasted +£600 on noisy drives.

Work Great, Good Value
Bought these for my NAS running Plex. Arrived quick, well packaged. Been monitoring them for a year in constant use and not a single issue. Not really much more you can say.

Almost good
Ordered to 6 TB drives. One drive posted a tiny bit of exterior damage. After testing I decided it is safe to use so I did not return. Not happy with the damage though as the metal lid is a bit bent on the edge

This drive is quiet when used as normal storage
Not using this drive as a NAS but normal storage on my PC. This drive is quiet and quick and not getting hot in normal use. Easy to setup and format. No problems so far

Reliable WD RED PRO Nas Hdd
As described, arrived early and was securely packed. Not used as yet as I am waiting for a Nas enclosure to expand my network storage. This Hdd comes with a 5yr warranty and the project was the best at the time of purchase.

Keeps making scrubbing sounds at all time. Won't be suitable for use in a home NAS device, if noise is a concern.

Ich nutze die WD Red Pro 6TB in meinem NAS und bin bisher absolut zufrieden. Die Festplatte läuft stabil, ist schnell und wurde vom System sofort erkannt. Dank der 7200 U/min und CMR-Technologie sind auch größere Datenübertragungen kein Problem. Besonders positiv finde ich die Zuverlässigkeit im Dauerbetrieb – genau dafür ist sie gemacht. Trotz der hohen Leistung bleibt die Temperatur im normalen Bereich und die Geräuschentwicklung ist für eine Pro-NAS-Platte vollkommen in Ordnung.
