This transfer board honestly is the best. THESE ARE NEEDED IN REHABILITATION FACILITIES!!Its longer and wider than the standard boards which is awesome for heavier/bigger people. I know I feel more secure from falls while transferring from bed to power chair/power chair to bed.Its also great for getting in & out of the car.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOARD!! These are very sturdy, thick transfer boards, solid and pretty heavy. I haven't tried them yet but am hoping they will work out well. I purchased these based on customer reviews (most favorable), and also because they are longer and sturdier than a standard transfer board. They shipped very quickly and were well packaged.

The wood is excellent on this board, smooth finish, so it is easy to slide on. One problem though, the wood grain has a little split area. from the handle opening to the outer edge. It had to be repaired with glue. But is okay after this repair was done... it makes movement from wheelchair to cars and bed much easier. The board is heavy in weight, so be sure you have enough arm strength to use it alone. The extra length makes a more secure bridge in transfer. good product

My husband broke both of his legs and learned how to use a slide board in rehab so we needed one for home this board is heavy duty, extra wide which is helpful since he is 6ft tall and weights 230lbs and is no weight bearing at all so he feels more secure with this board.

Bought this for my 16 yr old to do car to wheelchair, and wheelchair to car transfers. Got it and the board was cracked. Requested have a replacement sent. Will update if the new one is cracked as well. It does have faster delivery than says. Which is the only good thing so far.

Works for me as a transport device. Did not take long to learn how to use it. It is reasonably priced and I am happy that I found it. Thank you to those who made it for me.

Quality hardwood, made up of pieces joined together with furniture tongue-and-groove joints; much stronger than softwood boards (which spilt in karate classes when struck with the grain). You will never split this product by hand.
