I need a replacement charger. Does anyone know what kind i need to order?

An AC adapter plug should work. One with changeable heads, electronics sections in stores have them and best buy

How is the battery rechargable? the description says rechargable and specs state lipo battery. can you clarify?

This product was a game changer for me. Works as stated. To recharge, just attach unit to charger and then plug into wall. I have a 45 pound mix lab and I use level 2.

Does this work for howling verses barking

Yes, this works for both howling and barking. In order for the collar to recognize and trigger to howling, you simply need to change the sensitivity level to high. The instructions that come with, will show how to do so. Note that changing the sensitivity does not effect the intensity of the trigger on the dog, it just simply allows the prongs to detect vibrations in the dogs throat more easily, as well as the sound.
