This camera is fantastic, I absolutely love using it and can’t wait to check to see what it’s recorded each time. The picture quality is amazing for the price both video and photo, the night vision is also excellent, sadly the sound lets it down but I’m not overly bothered by that. It’s very easy to use with minimal settings and the booklet which came with it is easy to understand. The motion detection can be adjusted and it’s very good at detecting things. The battery life is also excellent with three different power back ups. I was surprised when I bought it that I received an email from the seller/manufacturer asking me if it was working properly and inviting me to contact them if there were any issues, this is a very nice touch and one that is appreciated. All in all, any excellent little camera to record wildlife with and I’m glad I bought it.

I've waited quite a while to write this review to ensure I've had a good few months use. I've had this from Summer 2024 after being a release garden for rescued hedgehogs. I wanted to keep a check on them and just to watch them. The set up is easy (and I'm not particularly good with tech). It is also easy to get the app on your phone and link the camera. This is what I really wanted from the camera so that I can view images and videos on my phone rather than on a screen on the camera itself. The quality of the images is really good both at night and in the day. It is also very easy to download the images onto your phone if you wanted to share with other people. The other added bonus of this camera in partcular is that there is no need to put any batteries in it. The solar power does work quite well and during the winter months (as there has been less activity) it has very suprisingly managed to power the camera for weeks without needed to plug it in to recharge the interal battery. The summer months however was a different matter - I did have to regularly top up the battery, maybe weekly, but there was lots of recording going on and in hindsight maybe it wasn't positioned in the best place to make the most of the sunlight. Only real issue is that you have to be quite close (approx 4ish metres) from the camera with your phone to be able to connect to it to look at the images. But it does work through windows so you don't have to go outside if it is positioned close to the house. All in all - really happy with this so much so I am contemplating purchasing another one to cover a different part of the garden.

Very good. Found a mouse run in the back garden. Used for bird watching on a bird feeder. Good picture and life from the batteries. Love the ability to pick the detection zone. Built in WiFi has issues sometimes but I think it’s distance related.

Very good quality and facilities. The camera was very easy to install and set up, I charged the internal battery and fitted 4 AA alkaline cells as backup. I placed the camera on a monopod in my garden facing towards my bird feeding station. I can connect to the camera from inside my back door about 15 metres away from the camera. My phone and tablet connect via Bluetooth and then to the wireless hotspot, and I can view the live camera and change the settings, or take a snapshot or video. The picture and video quality are excellent, and it is easy to transfer them to my phone or tablet. The motion activated picture and video function also works extremely well. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this camera.

I purchased an XTU WiFi Camera last year which I have connected to the mains with a 6v adapter and have been using it every day since with no problems at all. I wanted another WiFi camera but the position I wanted it to be in was too far away from being able to connect it to the mains. Then I found this newly released XTU WiFi Camera with a Solar Panel which recharges a built-in Lithium Battery. This meant I could place it anywhere which saw some daylight during the day and not have to worry about replacing the AA batteries all the time, which is good for the environment and is also saving me money by not having to buy replacement batteries. Once I had fully charged the Lithium battery using the supplied USB cable, I found that the Lithium Battery had only used 20% of it's charge during filming overnight for about 7 hours. The solar panel was then able to fully charge the Lithium Battery during the daytime. I still had to insert 4 AA 1.5v batteries for a back-up just in case for any reason the Lithium Battery did run out, but hopefully will never get used. The camera was relitively easy to set up once I had read the well written and easy to understand supplied Instruction Booklet. There are two supplied methods to mount the camera, one being a strap to go round a tree or post and the other being a fully adjustable metal bracket with included screws etc. There are 4 different ways to power this camera to suit various scenarios, the Solar Panel with rechargeable Litium Battery, 4 AA 1.5v Batteries (not supplied), a USB cable (supplied) and a Suitable 6v mains adapter (not supplied). The video and photo images are bright and clear and there are several ways to retrieve these, connecting a smart phone by Bluetooth/WiFi, using the supplied USB cable to connect to a laptop/tablet or simply by turning the camera off and removing the 32Gb Micro SD card (suppied) and inserting it into a card reader. If you connect your smart phone using the appropriate version of 'TrailCam Go' APP, you can actually observe the images in real time and also alter all the camera settings. The camera proved to be waterproof the other evening when we had a ferocious stormy downpour and the next morning there had been no water ingress at all. There is also a facility to be able to fit a lockable device to deter opportunist thieves (as shown in one of my attached photos). All in all, this is an excellent, reliable camera to own, it's quality built, does everthing that's stated in the Sellers description and best of all, it's good for the environment by not having to keep replacing batteries and is also good for my Wallet.

Works great as advertised. Takes clear photos and/or video day and night. Small amount of sunlight seems to keep the internal lithium battery charged via the little solar panel. I also added the 4 backup AA’s. Paper manual that comes with it is for an older model, but YouTube videos exist which walk you through all the setting adjustments. Charge it first before using. Using it as a backyard critter cam. I’ve found I don’t need photos, so I’ve adjusted the settings to do 15second videos only. The free iPhone or android app for it is easy to use. I have the camera outside and connect to it from inside the house. The advertised 49ft connectivity is a stretch as the closer the faster I’ve found. Going to try the High sensitivity setting next for the PIR, as I’ve had it on medium so far. Will see if I get false positives from grass or branches in the wind. I’ve attached it using the included strap to a 2ft 2x6 so I can easily move it around to different spots in the back yard-Thanks to a previous poster for this tip. And it is quite small as in fits in your hard, which is nice.

Was mich ebenfalls überzeugt hat, ist das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für diese Qualität und Ausstattung bekommt man hier wirklich viel geboten. Insgesamt bin ich zu 100 % überzeugt und kann die Kamera nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Ich benutze die Wildkamera jetzt seit einigen Tagen und bin total begeistert! Die Einrichtung gelang dank der „TrailCam Go“-App sehr leicht. Die WLAN-Funktion finde ich besonders praktisch, da ich die Kamera nicht jedes Mal abnehmen muss, um die Aufnahmen anzusehen – einfach mit der App verbinden. Die Qualität von Bildern und Videos ist hervorragend! Selbst nachts gelingen mir gestochen scharfe Aufnahmen – dank 32-MP-Fotos und 2,7K-Videos. Dank der Low-Glow-LEDs werden Wildtiere nicht gestört – ich habe bereits großartige Fotos von Rehen und sogar einem Fuchs erhalten! Auch die Solar-Doppelstromversorgung ist ein besonderes Merkmal. Das integrierte Solarpanel sorgt für eine enorme Verlängerung der Laufzeit und spart Batterien. Ich habe außerdem einige AA-Batterien als Reserve eingelegt, aber bisher funktioniert alles einwandfrei über den Akku. Auch die schnelle Auslösezeit macht sich bezahlt – ich habe schon einige schnelle Tiere wie Eichhörnchen und Vögel gestochen scharf einfangen können. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

XTU Solar Trail Camera WiFi Bluetooth Very easy trail cam to set up and use. Nice easy sensitivity setting. You can set to record all day when movement occurs or set up a time slot. Pictures are clear. You can use solar, batteries or recharge the internal battery. App is incredibly easy to use except one major downfall is bluetooth connectivity. Once connected it works great but connecting can take many minutes or instantly (at least on a Moto Edge 2022. I originally set it up outside but then discovered I had a rat inside the house so used it for that. Months later -very smart rats out here and bigger than what traps can catch -it's finally gone. So going to set it back up outside. Will definitely buy again. Amazon only allows one video so can't upload the rat one.

I purchased one camera in June 2025 to view the wildlife on my new property. I now have 5 cameras! The cameras are great, awesome night mode, easy to view and download footage, easy to set up, the solar charging is quick and easy, and downloading the footage is very simple. The customer service is excellent. I reached out to them regarding an issue with a camera and they talked me through some troubleshooting methods, unfortunately it didn't work but they resolved it with a replacement camera. I was extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this camera!
