Great quality earbuds!
If you're someone like me who isn't necessarily an audiophile and just wants a good pair of wired earbuds for cheap, I promise you these won't disappoint!! The sound quality on these earbuds is seriously amazing. I've been able to hear a lot more details in my music that I wasn't able to hear before. The build itself seems to be plastic, but it feels like very sturdy plastic, so I don't think I'm gonna have to worry about it breaking in the near future. The cable also has a very nice quality feel to it, so there's no need to purchase a better one. I was initially worried as the earbuds seemed to hurt my ears, but I think that was moreso my ears adjusting to wearing IEMs for the first time, now they're so comfy to me that I've slept with them on multiple times. I move a lot when I'm sleeping though, so I end up yanking them out in my sleep. Not a problem for me since I need to hear my alarm in the morning, but good to note. The IEMs come with a nice leather bag to store them in. I don't use them most of the time since I just wrap them around my iPod, but it's nice to have for travel. The volume control on the mic is good to have, but just note that it might not work on some older devices. It doesn't work on my iPod and my older laptop, but that's not much of a problem for me.As far as the mic goes, I've called once using it before and had no complaints from the receiving end, so I assume the mic quality is at least good enough.Overall, I have no complaints about these earbuds! I got them to get the job done and they went above and beyond.

Survived my washing machine
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought these just out of curiosity based on their amazing test results. First off, I had these in their case in my jeans pocket and accidentally put them through the washing machine. It's pretty impressive that they still worked afterwards. I really didn't like the sound, even pre-wash, when comparing them to some cheap ones or my Airpods, they seemed lacking in base. That's probably a matter of personal taste, you may love them.

Great to get into the IEM world
These are honestly great if you're starting to get into the world of IEMs! Obviously if you're using them with your phone I recommend a USB c adapter. The volume is controller through your device since the don't have any buttons. Clear sound of course. Since they're small and lightweight you barely feel them inside your ear or just hanging on your ear.and lastly the colors are great as well!

Great first IEM
I'm very pleased with the sound of these iems. Spatial effects are surprisingly good and frequency response is balanced. A tiny bit of bass added, 1.5-2.0db and these sound great. Super cheap great sounding iems with a case and a great cable and plenty of sizes for ear buds. 💯💯

Terrible customer service for a really good product
The headphones are great for the price range. Good sound quality, and decently well made. Had an issue with my first pair after about 2 months of use where the mic controls started malfunctioning. Volume going up and down, pausing and starting media unexpectedly, and intermittent loss of sound in the right headphone. Reached out to the Truthear support team 2 times and never got a response back even though there's supposed to be a 1 year limited warranty. The product itself I'd give a 5* rating for the price. Since customer service couldn't even send an automated response they get 1*. So overall 3*.

Budget-friendly IEMs with light V-shaped sound signature
The Truthear Gate IEMs are budget-friendly in-ear monitors priced around $20. They feature a 10mm dynamic driver with a carbon LCP diaphragm. I feel these have a comfortable fit, good tonal balance (aligned with Harman target tuning), and clean sound quality. While not exceptional in technical performance, they are should be considered a solid choice for their price range. The Truthear Gate IEMs have a light V-shaped sound signature. This means they offer a slight emphasis on the bass and treble regions, while maintaining a relatively neutral midrange. The sub-bass is enhanced, adding depth and a touch of fun, while the midrange remains clean and spacious with a hint of brightness in the upper mids. The treble is inoffensive, providing clarity and detail without being harsh. Here's a breakdown:- Driver: 10mm dynamic driver with a carbon LCP diaphragm.- Sound Signature: Light V-shaped, with enhanced sub-bass, clean mids, and smooth treble.- Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 45 kHz.- Impedance: 28Ω, making them easy to drive.- Sensitivity: 122 dB, ensuring good volume levels even with low-power sources.- Build: Clear acrylic faceplates with a lightweight design for comfort.- Cable: Detachable 2-pin 0.78mm OFC cable.- Accessories: Includes six pairs of silicone eartips and a vinyl carrying pouch. The Truthear Gate IEMs are a budget-friendly option with a solid set of features and performance. I feel they have a good clarity and detail retrieval, though the treble can feel slightly dry, and the lower mids may lack some body.
