I haven’t used the Hydrovac lots of times but I am very impressed so far, cleans really well without leaving the floor wet, easy to use and the self clean function is brilliant, well worth the money ❤️

This comes with a US charging dock so don’t buy if you will be using in UK. I had to contact the manufacturer direct to obtain a UK charging dock (£39.99) and I was also told that warranty was reduced to just a year because I didn’t buy direct from Shark. Amazon UK customer services were initially not that helpful, I had to do all the sorting out but eventually they agreed to refund me the cost of the UK charging dock.

Mud season here in the Pacific NW was especially bad this year with the addition of our 10 month old Newfoundland puppy! We are cleaning the floors 3, sometimes 4 times a day and they are dirty again 5 minutes later! Enter the Shark HydroVac. It hasn't reduced the number of times we need to clean... but it sure makes it easier! I can vacuum and mop all in one pass! What a revelation! It's the best thing since sliced bread! It's nice and light weight and it does a good job on my vinyl floors (which are quite smooth). It's not great at deep cleaning, it doesn't scrub very hard, but it cleans up the mess quickly and efficiently. I'll still do a deeper clean every couple weeks, but this keeps my home presentable until then. I also use this in my gym where I have installed the pebbled rubber stall mats as flooring. It does a decent job on those floors, but to get into the pebbled surface I really need to use some kind of scrub brush. But this little HydroVac picks up the heavy dirt and makes me feel like the floor is reasonably clean. The battery is enough to clean my gym (about 300 SF of floor cleaning) and most of my family room floor (Newfie-ville is about 600 SF of cleanable space) before it runs out of power. It would be nice if the battery lasted a bit longer, but I understand there are tradeoffs in weight with a larger battery, and I'm very happy with the light-weight feel of this unit.

In love with my vacum,does its work,gives a really good deep clean and leaves a beatuful shine to my floor..and the smell of freshness omg!! Have 2 small dogs and a 3 year old, this is a must for us mommys lol

I absolutely love this machine! I have used a shark vacuum for many years, and every time we do a construction project in our house, I kill one and I go back and buy another one immediately! A friend of mine came by with her new shark Hydro vac to show me how it worked on our laminate floors, I was amazed by the results. I don’t mind vacuuming my area rugs, but I absolutely hate to sweep and mop ….but…. I have a black lab and a large house cat and they leave a lot of fur and dander all over the house. I would not recommend using this Hydro vac to vacuum area rugs, but it works really well to vacuum and mop the laminate floors. After vacuuming, I did use it to freshen up my area rugs, and it worked very well. However, when I cleaned the bottom, dirty water container, there was a large amount of hair that had to be cleaned out, and it took several minutes. I would recommend vacuuming first. I hate to mop, but this is an absolute joy to work with. You simply fill up the water container with some cleaning liquid and warm water and off you go. Mine did not work the first time I used it, I could not get the water to go through and get the brush to roll. After watching a Google video on troubleshooting, I found one that was very explicit about taking a paper clip and poking it through the hole at the very bottom of the water container. This worked perfectly, once I poked that hole completely, the Hydro vac started working immediately and left my floors very clean, almost completely dry and smelling like a dream. I don’t think my house has ever been so clean since we moved in seven years ago. It came with a good charge, but I did charge it for the recommended four hours before use. We have a small house, only about 800 ft.² and it can very easily clean our entire house on one charge. I absolutely love it, and would highly recommend it. I have been looking at this for a couple years, I’m so glad I finally purchased it! It is very easy to maneuver under and around any furniture. It stops working as soon as the water container is empty, and you simply clean and dump out the bottom container and you’re off and running again very quickly. And it has great suction power so it leaves. The floor is almost completely dry and I don’t have to keep the dog and cat and Husband outside for 20 minutes.
