Wow, these are great stones... solid bases and the diamonds on mine were nice and flat without imperfections. Almost no variation in thickness so I didn't need to reset my angle when switching stones. The aluminum bases needed a bit of dehorning cause there were some pretty sharp edges but other than that, I was so impressed I immediately bought another set for when these finally die. I believe these will "break in" beautifully as they are very sharp out of the box. I only wish there were more grit choices in this style. I have searched quite a bit on Amazon but can only find the ones on plastic bases. Out of the box these seem much more coarse than the grit would suggest, hence the break in, but the grind was very even without much scratch variation. Brand new the 240 cuts like a 120 and the 1000 cuts probably about like a 400-600 but develops the burr very quickly and I use regular stones to finish anyway. Due to their origins, there may be QC issues so if you get a bad set, exchange them because the good ones I can tell you are phenomenal for the price.

It's a good product.

These are excellent diamond plates for a fixed system and priced very well. I have checked the stones under a microscope and the grit contamination is minimal, the diamond is bonded in the nickel electroplating very nicely so these should last a fair while. The cut quickly with a nice concentration of nice and sharp diamond. These will work very well for sharpeners that are just getting in to sharpeming and looking for a good performing set of diamond plates for little money. The size is perfect for your 6x1 inch stone systems and the ease of use with diamond plates is great as you can even use these dry. The thickness from plate it plate is within 8 thousandths of an inch so they are all close enough in height that you won't have to worry about different thickness stones changing your sharpening angle. Overall a great value for 18 dollars shipped on prime!

These worked great. But now one is coming unglued. that was my first review. I gave them 3 stars. But then they offered me a refund. I have had these longer than the return window. This company has went way beyond "Good" customer service! I am amazed at them in a world today with so much greed.

These aren't the highest quality, most durable stones. But they work OK. The alternative is paying $30-50 per stone. (Update 04-28-25: When Xarilk read my review, they reached out to me and offered a full refund, which was very generous. I declined the refund as the stones are certainly useable - they're just not super high quality. I highly recommend as "starter" stones.)

Decent set of stones. Used with my Tsprof Kadet. Am going to get the sharpener since I have first gen Kadet that doesn’t have the fine adjustment like the Xarilik sharpener

The system works fine. The stones won’t last long but they’re not great quality to begin with, but still great for the overall price

Stones are well made and cut nicely. Good quality for a reasonable price.

For use with my knife sharpener. Extended range of grit sizes. I wish the stones were in metal holders but they seem to work just fine.

Die Schleifsteine sind solide verarbeitet. Die Aluminium-Basis ist stabil und dennoch leicht. Die diamantbeschichtete Oberfläche ist eben, was die Arbeitsstabilität verbessert. Der Abtrag wirkt anfangs etwas aggressiv, dürfte sich aber nach einigen Messern einarbeiten. Insgesamt gut einsetzbare Steine für diesen Preis.
