I wanted a fan that could be used at bedside, either at home or especially while traveling. This fan is perfect. It's relatively quiet and provides good airflow. For travel, it's compact and lightweight. USB-C cord is included and measures 45" long. You can power it with a battery power bank or plug-in USB power block. When traveling to a foreign country, you can also use a converter that has a USB output. Very versatile! Hotels in some parts of Europe don't have air conditioning so having a fan at bedside can be a lifesaver. Fan also provides "white noise" for better sleep. Overall you can't beat it for under $10.

Wanted a small rechargeable and portable fan. This fan meets that and can sit on a surface with it folded out or can hang by the same fold out arm. It had charge on arrival so I was able to immediately try it out. Charging cord includied but not type C plug adapter. Box says LED red while charging and turns green when done, but I haven't tried it yet. At a distance @ 5' I could feel a faint movement of air and barely any sound. Medium setting was a slight increase of both, definitely feeling the air move but wouldn't interfere with a phone call. High was a good breeze and yes more sound but still didn't interfere with TV or phone calls. I wouldn't want it close to the phone as the breeze and the sound might begin to interfere. Would be nice for desk, tent, emergency use or other areas you could hang or provide level stable place to sit. Would keep it dry though.It's surprising how much air it moved yet quite. Box says running at DC 5V. It stands on its own well and feels fairly sturdy. The box has good directions if you have your reading glasses on. (English only) It does state that it has a 1 year warranty with a Yahoo customer support email listed. Yes, it's made in China.Box states the battery should be removed (recycled) before eventual disposal of the fan. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to replace the battery? If it lasts a year plus, I will be pleased.

I purchased a wonderful Nukebox Style PC, which is astounding with the capabilities of such a small package. The biggest issue it has is heat, since there is only room for one fan. In an environment where that can be a problem...a big solution is an external fan. And this fan is perfect.The USB power means it can go anywhere the PC is and simply placing it to flow accross the top has made the heat issue all but mute. Though I still need to get a ventilated platform for the PC to sit on...it has not had any heat issues since I set it up.I would readily buy more of these for the versitility of it..and I may do so as I strive for a better airflow situation.
