This saw is made by a long standing manufacturer of good quality tools. This saw will do all it has been designed and made to do and no doubt more - in the hands of the right user of course!

Disappointing buy
Did a lot of research and had a lot of hope for this saw. Looked really nice too. It went blunt very quickly though after not much use so very disappointed.

This little saw is mighty in sturdiness and cutting ability; don't let the name fool you, "FatMax" is a great little saw. Stanley hit it out of the park with this versatile hand saw. I use it (constantly) in my woodworking shop as well as the occasional tree pruning when the limb is too small to fire up a chainsaw, but too thick for pruning lops. I can't see the need to replace it, but if it happens, I will definitely purchase another "FatMax" saw.

I love this saw. My friend said this is the best tool I spent money for in my workshop. Indeed, this saw is much cheaper to buy compared to my other powered tools. However, it performs extremely well and totally worth the money I spent. It is lightweight and good size. The grip is comfortable. Saw teeth are sharp and they cut very aggressively. I can tell the blade is high quality because it is very stable and doesn't wobble like other cheap saws. The only thing I don't like about this saw is that it doesn't come with the teeth cover like many other hand saws do. It only comes with a paper wrap cover which will keep falling out over time. Other than that, everything else about this saw is great.

Excelente producto!!! Yo pensé q estaría hecho en Estados Unidos d Norteamérica, o en Estados Unidos Mexicanos, pero está hecho en Francia!! 1000% recomendable, nada más hay q cuidarlo... Salu2 dsd Arandas Jal a Taxco Gro y Cuernavaca Mor México...

Estaba indeciso si comprar este serrucho Stanley o uno Irwin, al final me decante por este modelo de Stanley por la ergonomia del mango y porque esta fabricado en Estados Unidos a diferencia que el modelo similar de Irwin que esta fabricado en China. Buen filo, cortes limpios.
