This is a surprisingly well-designed Bluetooth earpiece for the price, currently $10 less a 10%-off coupon. Nothing is inserted into the ear canal but instead the audio part hangs from the hook next to (but not inside) the ear canal. This works fairly well except that it provides no blocking of ambient noise, which is an advantage if you are driving, cycling, or walking; this may or may not be what you want. I've worn it as long as eight hours with no discomfort. The electronics are excellent, Bluetooth v5.4 (the very latest) with A2DP and HFP profiles; a Linux laptop easily switches back and forth with no trouble. The multi-point connection facility allows simultaneously connecting to two different devices, in my case the Linux laptop and an Android smart phone. Range is very good. In A2DP mode, both left and right channels are multiplexed into the single audio part. Sound quality both received and transmitted seems solid. While it certainly can be used to listen to music, it is designed and optimized for voice such as telephone calls and audio books. There is not much bass, although that enhances voice clarity. Charging uses a USB Type-C cable (included), and battery life is nothing exceptional but will get you through a day. I was pleased enough that I bought a second one.

The sound quality is better than the older Bluetooth I've used, and what's really great is it is very easy to forget you are wearing this, as since it doesn't sit in your ear canal it is about as comfortable as possible. Also the battery life really is at least 10+ hrs, like other 5.0+ Bluetooth headsets. Physical quality could use a look over, since dropping can easily pop off the assembly covers. I will say the two times this happened the device was actually unhurt and I was able to pop on the covers again. The on-off button is rather awkwardly played in with the speaker, and the switch actuates so loudly that it is rather loud actually and takes too much force IMO. I also like how the headset doesn't stick out past your ear as much as other headsets, which actually matters for me as a auto technician since I routinely put my head in some tight spaces and regular headsets easily could get knocked out my ear. Though it is rather easy for this head set to still get knocked off if is touched. However the more it is affixed to your ear I would imagine the less comfortable it gets, so I'll take this compromise. The pair process is very easy to initiate and the device is found easily and pairs and stays connected even through 30 ft and 2 walls, at least in my house.

I got one for my phone and it linked up and worked great. So, I ordered another of the same for my wife. Could never get to work for her phone which was one like mine. It never linked up with hers.

Not as comfortable as the UFO which are has all rounded and soft corners. Not sure why this one have harder and sharper corners for everything. Must be cheaper to make this way. After sitting on my head for 30 minutes, I am feeling pressure points and discomfort. I go all day with the UFO and forget I even have them on. The instruction are printing with a microscope. My thumb is not unusually large. Must take a photo with your phone and enlarge in order to read. The first line of instruction will tell you what you are in for: "Tips: first use or long-term do not use, after charging the headphones to use, please keep within 10 meters of the effective environment without obstruction to use, otherwise there may be Cottonwood and broken chain." I don't know about you, but I really don't want Cottonwood or broken chains in my ear. We can all hope that with AI developing rapidly that the future of Chinglish instructions will improve. The sound is nice though. Side by side with the UFO, this has better deep tones. Fuller sounding. Same volume capabilities. The UFO+ is not as good as the UFO.

A satisfied customer

I love this earpiece. It fits on the outside of my ear and does not hurt or fall off my ear. The battery lasts all day. I have tried over 24 earpieces and this is the only one I use now. I had to buy another one just to make sure I always have a backup. Also sounds great!
