It's just for american consoles.
I'm very disappointed, this game is just for Europeans consoles, my son got very sad when we tried to play this game and it didn't work, the seller or amazon should say that this game is only playable on American consoles, and also they should sell anything that doesn't work in Europe or in my case in UK.

Misleading selling post!
Bought in November for Christmas present for my son who was very upset on Christmas Day when it wouldn't play. I assumed that it was my mistake and was going to sell on a selling site as I assumed I was too late for a refund but looking at all these reviews it seems that it did not state that it would only play on US systems. I certainly never saw any such statement. Not happy at all!

Does not do what it said on the tin!!!
Awful! Paid almost £40 and it doesn’t work on my sons new 3dsxl - purchased in November for Christmas - opened today and it’s not recognised - logged in here to see the description has now been changed to say US version of 3ds only!!! Hoping I get my money back - I’ve a very disappointed son 😥

Unimpressed
Extremely unimpressed that the information about it being only for US consoles was NOT on the page prior to purchase and in the returns email had the cheek to say that the information was there beforehand. Even more unimpressed that I now have to pay for the return from New Zealand. Like the others - an extremely disappointed child on Christmas day.

Totally Misleading
I am still waiting on a refund for this item, I now see that the description states that it can only be played on US consoles, I purchased this in November and there way no mention of this at the time, extremely disappointed & upset 5 year old on Christmas day.

New 3ds only!
Brought this for my son for Christmas, he opened his Nintendo 2ds and this wasn't compatible, my son is very upset. He is autistic and had ADHD so he struggles to register things like this. I have asked seller if I can return.

Disgusting
This game does not work on English ds’s. I have a very disappointed little boy on xmas day. Amazon you need to stop this supplier selling to British customers. Let’s hope we don’t have any problems getting a refund

I’m sure the game is great, however my daughter can not play this on her system. I wasn’t aware the “new Nintendo 3DS” games are only for the 3DS XL systems.

This is our third copy of the game— Our three older kids are 8, 6, and 5 and they each have a 3DS. My oldest got one first, then the other older two got one to share. Eventually all three wanted to play Minecraft at the same time and together— awesome feature being able to play together on different handheld systems, so we bought a third one. It sucks this can’t be played on the older 3DS because a kid I babysit has an older one but has the game that he can’t play :( But other than that... we dig this game! My kids are little gamers :)
