Much easier to insert and remove your fire extinguisher
Love this style of fire extinguisher bracket.. Much easier to use than the clamping strap style, but not quite as secure. We have them installed in our school district buses, and are so much easier to insert and remove the extinguisher since we have to remove every Friday and put back in a bus on Monday. Only problem I have is with the cost. I was able to purchase a second one on eBay at a little over 1/2 the price with free shipping too. Had to pay to ship the Amazon one to me.

Doesn't fit our typical 5# fire extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are too wide for these brackets. Fits the 2.5 # too snugly, and the 5# won't fit a 5# fire extinguisher.

outstanding fire extinguisher bracket
The bracket worked perfectly for where it was installed. It was attached to a copper stand pipe with 2 stainless steel adjustable clamps in the utility area of the basement. The area is just in front of two furnaces and a hot water heater and quite visible from the doorway.
