It's nice for beginners for either kids or adults. The quality is good but the scents in the kit are very strong

I've dabbled in soap making, primarily using goats milk soap & essential oils but only had the goats milk soap base & scented oils that I also use for candle making. When I came across this kit, it appears to have all of the elements you need to keep, gift, or sell super quality, homemade healthy soap with dried flowers. The box includes glycerin clear soap base, a creamy shea soap base that will go wonderfully with the goats milk I have on hand and both are amazing for your skin! The kit includes a wooden soap box to create full size bars of soap, there's a measuring and mixing pitcher, skin safe essential oils, and skin safe dyes, a standard straight cutting tool and a fancier wavy style cuttimg tool, as well as bags to gift your soap to the lucky receiver!!This kit included all of the extras that I was lacking, and is a great value for any novice or experienced soap maker, it's perfect for any level.We hope to use the kit with my step daughters younger sisters as my step daughter is getting married this October but wanted to do a close knit family & friends wedding in the backyard at the peak of foliage season here in New England. This will give the girls a fun project to help keep them busy, and make them feel like they're contributing and helping 💜Really, really impressed with this awesome kit, everything you need to make beautiful homemade soap at an affordable, great value! And who doesn't love a big box packed to the brim with joy & fun!! Highly recommend!!

What an amazing kit! I've wanted to try making soap for a long time but wasn't sure what I'd need to make soap I'd actually want to use. This kit is a comprehensive collection of fun elements that allow you to make bars of soap that are nice enough to display, give as gifts, or actually use.This kit contains everything you didn't know you needed. Essential oil scents, colors, and flowers for inside the soap, and cool shapes can be moulded into individual fancy bars or create a big soap loaf and cut into slices. You can even choose straight or wavy slices. So fun!The only negative for me was that I didn't like all the scents of the essential oils. Which is fine, because the assortment was varied enough to provide two that I liked enough to use.Easy to make, lots of creative potential and the tools can be re-used over and over again. Good value, would make an excellent gift for a crafty friend.

My husband and I enjoy making as many things as we can at home so that we can get both quality and quantity out of our products as well as know exactly what is in each thing we use so that there are no allergy issues. This soap making kit came in handy when we got the idea to make our own soaps at home and we have absolutely loved having it. The oils are so fragrant and the bars of soap turned out so cute as we both put our own touches on them before letting them harden.

This soap making kit is wonderful. It included a melt and pour base (both clear and creamy), scented oils, soap colorants, various flower petals, a traditional loaf mold, a four cavity swirly bar mold, a twelve cavity flower mold, a plastic pitcher, a wavy and straight soap cutter, and everything else you might need to place the soap into gift packaging. In generally has everything that you need in order to get started with this craft.The directions are simple; slice a bit of either soap base you need, warm it, add any scents and/or colors you want to include, then pour it into the mold. Just do not reheat up any soap that has gotten solid in the pitcher - it gives the finished soap a weird texture and feel. Simplified soap making without the added danger of using lye. In any case, (with supervision) this may be perfect for an afternoon activity for an adult and kids. Overall, I really like the set, the presentation and ease of use.

Just started to use this (melting in microwave) and the pitcher is leaking! It's tall, so I'm sure how easily I can replace it.
