as the saying goes, it does exactly what is says on the tin, Bought three to keep the bosses bikes spring ready, easy to hook up to the battery, and with a lead that can be tucked behind an easy access panel it makes connecting a doddle. all batteries are now in tip top condition and the bikes fire up on the button, just need a warmer dry day to be able to go out for a spin.(But maybe not on the Harley, dont like the riding condition) .

I have only one complaint about this device and that is that the lead from the charger to the car battery could be longer. It charges fast and it charges thoroughly. But due to the short lead the charger pack only sits about a foot away from the front of the car. So for us that leaves it at risk of getting caught in the rain. A slightly longer lead between car and charger unit and this item is great.

Fast delivery, it actually arrived a day early, and the product was as described. It's exactly what I needed for my motorbike.

This was purchased to provide charging of my tractor mower over the winter period. The battery is tricky to fully access but the positive and negative supply cables from it are connected to easily accessed bolt points on the chassis. These are smaller than on a car but I was able to fix the SAE quick release cables, which have the larger ring connecters, securely and safely with additional washers. The 2-amp unit is professionally constructed and can be wall mounted. For safety reasons make certain that the charger is located well away from a lead acid battery, which emits hydrogen and oxygen during the charging process, and that the area is well ventilated. Overall, this unit is well designed and functional for optimal maintenance of a lead acid battery during times of non-use and for fully recharging a battery when necessary.

So I have used this quite a bit on my sports car to counter a parasitic drain and this charger worked well. I’d may be try another one although I’ve bought the ring rsc808 to replace this unit. It just stopped working after about 6 months. Fuse not blown but circuit board inside seems to have had a problem and some corrosion or overheating. Otherwise seems well made and a good unit

Nice little unit. Looking at other other battery chargers/tenders, this one appeared to be the best value for a 2 Amp unit. I suspected that my battery was starting to go because it's been more than 5 years since I last changed it and was curious to see if this would extend the life of my battery. I noticed that the very slight rough idling my car was experiencing stopped as soon as I started using this. I plan to always plug this into my car even though I use my car almost every day now. When I wasn't working, I would sometimes forget to run the car and the battery would totally drain. I didn't realize how much damage that could do to the battery...something about it getting calcification which decreases the lifespan of the battery. Well anyway, I highly recommend purchasing this product. No thinking involved, just plug it in. If you plug it in the wrong way, it will light up the warning light and the internal circuitry will prevent anything from being damaged.
