I adore this mat. It has just enough cushion, looks very high quality, and has excellent grip even in hot yoga! I wish they had it in more colors and I would buy more. It has a bit of weight to it but not too heavy to carry. And I'm almost 6 feet and I love the length of this mat. I would very much recommend!

I’ve been practicing yoga for about 10 years, and I’ve tried a handful of mats thought out that time. The one mat that I have always gravitated to was a dry grip mat from the big “G-“ brand. What I like about that mat is that it has a smooth texture and my hands and feed never slip. The grip only gets better with sweat. The problem with that mat is that it is made with PVC material, which I know is not good for you/is considered toxic.So, I recently began a search for another new mat. Lot of people talk big about the “L-“ brand mat, but I’ve read many reviews that say that mat does not last over time. For something that costs upwards of $150, I’d expect it to last a lifetime, so that one was out. I tried a cork mat, but my hands and feet slipped when they were dry. It’s crucial to me that I have a solid foundation during practice.I came across this Plyopic mat during my search, and was thrilled to see it has a smooth textured top, is made with natural rubber, and has the alignment lines (while I said I’ve been practicing for 10 years, it has not been consistent, so alignment lines are a perk I was hoping for in my future mat).I gave the Plyopic mat a try as soon as it arrived, and I’m so happy with it already! It is very much like my other favorite mat without the nasty PVC. It’s slightly thinner, but that didn’t seem to be an issue when testing it out. With time I will know more about whether it will be a problem. I’m happy to know that Plyopic has a “+” version that is thicker, so I could always go that route later down the road if necessary.The natural rubber does make this a heftier mat to carry…fortunately for me, I practice at home, so that shouldn’t be an issue. There is a smell like others have mentioned. I wiped it down with a cleaning solution and put it in my garage to hopefully dissipate the smell. We’ll see.Overall, very happy with this purchase! I’m so glad I came across it because the price is comparable to the “G-“ brand mat and significantly less expensive than the “L-“ brand mat.UPDATE:After trying out the mat for an actual practice, I can confirm that this thing is super sticky, even without being in a heavy sweat, because when I moved it moved with me lol. Honestly, I’m so happy I stumbled across this mat. Lastly, after spraying it down with mat cleaner and letting it air out in my garage for 24 hours, the rubber smell is still slightly there but definitely isn’t unbearable, and it doesn’t have that weird fishy smell to it anymore.

I have loved this yoga mat for hot yoga. I have tried multiple others, and this one is fantastic. I thought I would need to use a towel in addition to it to help grip, but I don’t even need a towel and I don’t slip around even when I am completely dripping in sweat (in fact, it actually seems even more grippy when my hands are wet, which is crazy to me. Such a relief after slipping around so much on other mats.) I also love the weight of it- its not too heavy or too light- It lays perfectly flat as soon as it is rolled out. I also checked it for a chemical smell as soon as I opened the box, expecting maybe a strong rubber smell or something, but I was surprised it barely had any smell to it. No issues at all with the smell of it for me.Great mat.

Thickness is great, grip is the best ever (main reason I recommend to anyone that asks me about it), and I personally really love the weight, color, and guiding lines ✨️🧘🏻‍♀️Unfortunately, days exactly after buying and receiving the mat, 2 random holes appeared in what would be the rear portion of the mat. I typically use it for Hot Yoga Sculpt and the grip is amazing. Another downside is that it does take some time to dry (reason for 1 star removal, it should really be .5 star), so if you don't want a smelly mat then I suggest, toweling off any sweat from the mat and air drying after every use.UPDATE: Customer service did reach out and after some communications they were able to find a way for me to get a replacement, were very patient, and reassuring of their product quality. I will definitely be recommending to everyone and their mom.

Great mat, great purchase. Has a little rubber/plastic smell when you get close up but nothing too overpowering. The grip of the mat has totally changed my yoga flow and I feel so much stronger and firmly planted.

If you have a sweaty hands and feet like me then this is the yoga matt for you!! I started to take hot yoga classes and I sweat like crazy I found myself always slipping with my old yoga matt so I tried this one and boy this is sent from heaven!! The GRIP IS THE BEST!! never slip once and i can see the improvement with my yoga poses, it helps a lot! So worth it!! Thank you!

Been using this for hot yoga but after a month or so the top laying started peeling off. Super disappointed considering this is such a highly rated mat.

Very grippy, love the alignment lines. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 12 years and this is my favorite mat. I have used more expensive mats but this is the best one I’ve found!
