QeeLink Leather Welding Work Apron with 6 Tool Pockets, Heat & Flame Resistant Welder Aprons, 24" x 36", Adjustable M to XXXL

I use this in my welding classes and it works very well. It is a little thin, but what it does cover, it covers well. The straps are adjustable so they have a wide range of sizes. They attach with a clip so they're really easy to clip on and take off. It has large pockets that are great for holding my slag hammer and clamps. The leather is high quality and keeps the heat off very well. There's also a few layers of fabric behind the leather for extra padding which feel quite nice.

Apron is heavy duty with a nylon backing to keep it comfortable. Protects from welding sparks and cuts/sparks from finish grinding and every other manner of sharp dirty stuff. Has many useful pockets, 4 are large enough to carry my 6 inch verniers in their case in the pockets, so its very useful all around the shop, not just welding, but all aspects of fabrication. I keep markers, a tape, a couple squares, calculator and my 6 inch verniers everywhere I go to keep it easy for myself. Its heavy duty, just remember that, so it's going to be heavy and you load it with tools... it will weigh enough to notice for a week or two lol. Nobody said passive weight training was bad lol

Been wanting a shop apron to keep my clothes clean for a while. I do cabinetry and custom woodworking. I am always messing with messy stuff and always ruining my clothes. I tend to wipe my gluey hands on my pants, or get a glop of glue on my t-shirt (which later becomes incredibly hard and somehow sharper than a bee's stinger, poking me all day long)... Now, I have a place to wipe and not feel guilty about, or worry about comfort six months later! LOL The first project I used it with was a strip and refinish of an antique cabinet and the apron saved a lot of clothes! The weight of the leather is heavier than I expected. It's nice and soft. The x-belt I am unsure about. Might be easier to have a neck loop and just tie around the waist. But, that's an easy enough fix. I do like the quick release clasps, they work well and snap and unsnap easily enough. I like the number and size of the pockets. It allows me to keep a razor knife, awl, pencils and tape measure close by, without getting in the way. And, I can keep them in the apron for tomorrow, just hang the bugger up at the end of the day. I also really like the price and think it's an excellent value. I'd buy it again (I might anyways, just to have one if this one ever wears out!).

I bought six aprons! In my search for the perfect workshop apron, I came across six that were all well-reviewed and prime-ready, so I decided to do a shoot-out. Bottom line: The best shop apron is the Hudson Woodworking Edition. The best leather apron is the QeeLink. I would be happy with any of them - except the Angry Beaver. For the price, it is very impressive. I would say that the main shortfall is the pocket situation: the leather chest straps, while nice in appearance, are only good if your utensils have clips. None of my construction pencils do, so I wouldn’t trust them to stay. Further, while the main pocket is quite accommodating, the side pockets are too narrow for almost any of my hand-tools. I can’t think of good use for them other than straw storage. Finally, the straps are nylon, lack shoulder pads, buckles, or a connecting piece for the cross-back straps. Though it was perhaps the best-looking apron color-wise, the fit was relatively poor and it just seemed to want to bunch in the middle and get shorter - and it’s already a bit too short. All of the pockets are the same and they’re too shallow unless you’re only holding screws. The missing cross back strap was noticeable by comparison. Worst of all, the shoulder straps didn’t adjust well and just kept falling sideways down my arms. Overall: Nice canvas and appealing color, but otherwise, it’s a bit of a mess. If it had better quality straps with shoulder pads or a hammer loop, this one would be the best. Overall: If you want leather over canvas, this here is the one for you. The color is much lighter than pictured - more like the deluxe version. The packaging was also impressive. The only downside is the pockets just aren’t as nice as the Hudson. Overall: If you don’t wanna spend the extra $5 for the Hudson, then this is more than a serviceable shop apron - plus it is more comfortable. It has a great color, excellent quality canvas and straps, a terrific assortment of deep and covered pockets, hammer loops, metal grommets, etc. The only complaint I have is that among such stiff competition, this is the stiffest. It really isn’t all that comfortable at first, but after I put a few miles on it, it started to ease-up. I was most torn between this one and the QeeLink, just because I love the feel of nice leather, especially on that particular apron. But at the end of the day, the Hudson is just pure quality and I know it will last me a long time. So for me, this one’s the keeper. Overall: If you can afford it, this one is the best. ★★★★★

This apron is nice and heavy, and will provide good protection while turning wood. Pockets are nice and deep. I can carry most of the tools I need to have at hand. The only thing I don’t care for is the strap system. I find it a bit awkward to fasten at the correct height for me, but I don’t know how it could be made better as it would still have to fasten in the back. Overall I am well pleased with this shop apron. I think it is made well and will last a long time. Great value for the money. I could post a photo but who wants to see an old guy in an apron?! If you look for a turners apron online you will pay twice the price so I am glad to have found this one. I can wear it up high enough that the chips don’t fly down the front of my shirt. It is long enough that it will still go down halfway between my hips and knees (I am 6’2”). The leather is like a suede and is very soft and flexible, making it comfortable to wear even in a long day in the shop. I am well pleased with my purchase.

Great apron. I'm a metal worker. I do a lot of grinding and welding and it holds up really well. My first QeeLink apron lasted for over a year and a half. Worth every penny.
