The media could not be loaded.  My reason for buying this duvet was to have natural, renewable and sustainable fibers. Polyester, which is man-made filling, is in most comforters and duvets, it circulates air poorly and I get overheated by the middle of the night. The silk in this duvet, on the other hand, is breathable and I sleep cooler under it.The zip up liner is also natural woven fiber and removable, if needed, for washing. I opened the zipper and felt the silk inside, it is ultra soft and evenly distributed. This duvet, which I have protected in a cotton cover, keeps me warm enough with a bedroom temp in the mid 60s.

It had no reviews but took the chance…..Great quality and craftsmanship, I was looking for a eucalyptus Tercel duvet cover for a silk filled duvet, they are the best , soft and light and you don’t get feathers everywhere. In my search I found this silk insert with eucalyptus fibers duvet cover, I inspected and has a zipper so it can be wash without the insert, fabric is super soft to the touch, good stitching and no smell , definitely worth the price tag .

Very supple soft, the sheen is beautiful, and the thickness is just right. I was pleasantly surprised. Great value, and fast shipping.

its not high quality

I cannot recommend this product. It is difficult to wash (you have to take the middle silk out prior to washing and it's stitched in. It's not hard to get the stitches out, but then you have to put the filling back in after washing. UGH. And now, how do you make sure it won't shift inside since it isn't stitched anymore?) Also, machine washable (the cover only) but NOT okay to put in the drier. So, it's WRINKLED ALL THE TIME.

Light and it feels so awesome

Is exactly what I wanted to add to my bedding but here the thing, extracting the silk from the comforter isn't ideal there's no right way to do that, so I did what I wasn't supposed to do, I washed it on delicate cycle alone for 44 minutes and then tumble dried it for 50 minutes with no heat, that really didn't work and I had to un roll it all and wet it was a workout, then I ran it on a 2 to 2 and half hour time dry cycle on Max heat, checking and un rolling it everytime I thought about it, was it a pain to do yes, but the results were worth it, so even thought it took a ton of work to wash, in the end the value exceeds the price in my opinion, I've sold single pillowcases for the same price as this quilt, I love the name by the way and thank you..gc

The tencel fabric on this is wonderfully, buttery smooth. Almost on par with my silk pillowcases. And the silkiness doesn't come off in the wash, like some "genuine eucalyptus tencel" sheets I've tried previously.My sole complaint is that it isn't "all weather" as promised. It's not warm enough to use with just another lightweight quilt during our very mild winters (still needed yet another thick blanket on top) and it's not quite cool enough in our hot summers to use without sweating a bit if my A/C and ceiling fan aren't high enough.Thankfully washing isn't a big deal. Maybe I received an improved version because mine has a loop tie on the silk filler and inside the duvet cover at each corner and at the the center of each side (8 total). I did have to cut the threads attaching the filler to the cover in order to remove it the first time, but after that I've had no issues using the loops to secure the silk fill inside after laundering the cover.
