No leaks here—nice water bottle!
Highly recommend! Son wanted the “gator skin” feel, and this appeared to be the only seller for it on Amazon... There were several reviews saying their bottle leaked and most reviews also complained that they received the wrong color. Happy to report we received the BLUE (as ordered), and we checked for leaks right away—it does not leak. Very happy I took a chance.

Great Bottle - If You Want To Soak Your Pants!
Yeah, this thing leaks like crazy. Upon taking a large gulp of water, the bottle will immediately discharge a torrent of water onto your chest or crotch. If you enjoy looking like a fool in front of your coworkers, then this is a fantastic purchase. But if you otherwise have a functioning frontal lobe, avoid buying this!

Great water bottle, buy multiple
Gator-skin bottles are tough. My son practices or plays soccer 5 days a week and this is extremely durable. The color scheme even matches his team's kit.

Leaks from threads
Leaks from the threads at the top. Update: I tightened the lid with some extra force and that seems to resolve the issue. We'll see if it lasts.

Leaks, top can’t securely be screwed on
The threads that lock the cap of the water bottle do not sufficiently seal water inside, you can quite literally press it on without screwing because the threads are mismatched, and will consistently leave the cap on its side when you attempt to screw it on. Would highly recommend getting the standard gator skin bottle instead as this bottle habitually leaks.
