Product is not working as Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose. I followed standard hydration method (RO water, sprinkling, resting, slow stirring, temperature range 20–60°C). Even after overnight hydration, there is no viscosity or gel formation. The material behaves like inert powder and does not thicken water or formulations. This indicates incorrect grade, degraded, or mislabelled product. I am using it for cosmetic formulation and the product does not meet basic functional expectations.
