Easy installation. Worked great!

Burner gets too hot even at low setting.
Temperature control is poor and it burned my food even at 20% setting. It is not the same quality as the original one. I am returning it.

Worked for 10 months
Easy replacement - worked great for about 10 months and then failed. Same issue as before with original part - stovetop will turn on but will only heat on high.

Good Replacement for Glass Top Whirlpool Stoves
Fixed my glass top Whirlpool stove for cheap! I did have to push out the threaded metal inserts and install the ones from my rheostat since the screws on my stove were a different threat pitch, but the old inserts fit perfectly! One of the electrical terminals fit a very tight as well, but I found bending it out a bit allowed me to clip the connector on just fine with a little muscle. Great product!

Check before install
One of these was not working and I haven’t gotten the chance to return it up to now

Does Not Work
Mounting holes are misaligned. Tabs are also misaligned. And worst of all, the lower burner was always on high. I bought this to replace an intermittent switch and this one was so bad I cleaned the tabs of the old one and it seems to be working better. Wish I would have seen the other 1 star review before I ordered it.

Switch quit working
The switch quit working within 2 months of having it installed and of course it was outside off the return windows.
