Q: How thick is this batting? I'm looking for 1/8" roll of batting.

Kathy, Hobbs 80/20 cotton poly blend is approx. 1/8" thick.

Q: How does it compare to Warm and natural? Does it have more loft?

It is very similar in color. It does have a little more loft.

Q: What are the dimensions of the package? Is it possible to carry it as check in luggage in flight?

This batting roll is folded on a core tube. The dimensions are approx 48" x 18" diameter.

Q: Do you have to pre wash this?

No. The 20% poly in this batting keeps it from shrinking as much as 100% Cotton batting. Actually, I like the look of a quilt after it is washed because the batting shrinks just a bit and emphasizes the quilting. If you are tying the quilt, you might want to wash it, but only in water and only in a bath tub and only dried flat.
