It would be nice if they offered a 10 micron filter for a little more money. I bought the filter in order to house a 10 micron filter element. The quality is pretty good. The reason I gave the filter 2 starts is because it didn't come with the 6an fittings that it was supposed to and I haven't got a response from Evil Energy since I sent them a message explaining the problem. If they choose to fix the issue and send out some fittings of the correct size, I will update the review to a better rating. However because they didn't send the right fittings, I had to order the right ones from another company and now the filter ended up costing me about 40 bucks instead of just paying the 28 dollars for how it should have come. Update: Evil Energy sent me 8an to 6an adapters to be able to use the filter with the hoses on the car. It would have been nice to have the fittings it was supposed to come with but I am happy they sent the adapters and for the money this cost, it is well worth it. People complaining about leaks should use thread sealer or some good o rings to seal the filter.

Everything went together like it's supposed to. I coated all O-rings in vasaline for protection. All threads look and feel great. It looks to seal up quite nice. But, won't know anything for sure until I get some fuel ran threw the filter.

Works great for racing purposes

Its honestly a nice piece. My only issue is there was no step for oring on fitting to seat into. Straight AN fittings need the oring to seat in a captured seat, luckily this isnt under pressure in my application otherwise I'm sure it would have leaked. Since I'm a machinists, I put the step in myself. One other minor thing, the inner diameter of the fittings were basically the same. They should be different sizes to accommodate the flow by the size difference. The -10 was the same as the the -8. So once again I modified it myself. To a normal person(not as nitpicky as myself...lol) the filter will be fine as delivered. But if it's to be used under pressure watch for leaks. The internal element looks very very similar to name brand parts, and is of good quality.

I wanted to get a small inline filter that goes between the fuel pump and the carb on a rebuilt Chevy 350 this was a little bigger then I anticipated but will still use . Quality product though

Very nice filter and holder, I would like to know if I can get a replacement filter.

The product seems to be of good quality. I haven’t installed yet. I disassembled the unit to confirm the side of the filter. The images are contradictory though. One image shows the filter on the output side which makes more sense, and another image shows the filter on the input side. My reasoning for the filter on the output side is that the flow of fuel would force the filter forward if it was on the input side. Time will tell if this is worth 5 stars.
