Great product... absolutely love. Got it for my wife's birthday and it's very well made. I was surprised by some of the reviews that said they put it on the stove. It's a tea pot NOT A KETTLE!!! Seriously why would someone think you could put this and use this to heat water on the stove! Seriously why! It's common sense! Regardless of other people's lack of cognitive ability it retains heat well steeps tea cleanly and the internal filter works very well. It was a bit out of my price range originally but for the money this is a beautiful very functional tea pot. Very good price. Very very happy with it.

Absolutely beautiful set! Love it, and not too small like many sets on Amazon. There are instructions that specifically state to not heat in the pot over direct flame, so make sure you don’t so it doesn’t crack like other reviews.

I use this daily. Four cups capacity. Used with an infuser and quality tea you can have a nice tea party.

I bought this tea kettle a few months ago and just tried to use it for the first time only to discover a very large crack in the bottom of it that immediately started leaking when I tried to use it. It’s very pretty, but doesn’t seem to be made properly to be used to heat up water.

This is a great tea pot. The built in filter is fine enough that you dont need any other filer. The pot keeps the tea warm for a long time. The lid doesn't fall off easily wheb pouring. The asthetic is very beautiful. what is hard to tell from the pictures but is really nice when you see it in person, is that there is a little bit of sky blue color between the white and black colors of the pot and cups. One down side is that the lid of the pot gets too hot to handle very quickly and the mountain design is not easy to grip to open the pot either. So if you need to open the top once you put the hot water in you will need something to protect your fingers. This is NOT a kettle, I saw some of the other negative reviews from people that dont seem to know the difference between a pot and a kettle. You can NOT put this on the stove to heat water in. This is only for putting tea leaves and hot water in to steap the tea. If you try to use this on a stove to heat water of course you are going to break it. I got the white tea pot and cups set wheb it was on sale for about $35 which was a great value for the quality of the set. It is not the easiest pot to clean is another downside but its not terrible either. The size is good in that it will hold about 1 liter of water ( 33oz)

I ordered the "ZENS Vintage Japanese Teapot" in the green gradient color as a Christmas gift. Before I wrapped it up, I opened it to check for cracks, quality, and how it was packaged. Quality: The pot was made very well, no scuffs or oddities in the paintwork or the construction. Its nicely detailed and the texture feels good and not cheap. I was pleasantly surprised that the metal handle is VERY sturdy, it looked kind of like thin metal in the picture but its solid and unbendable so it can definitely hold a full pot of boiling water. Inside: Like a lot of teapots, there's a ceramic mesh over the inner spout's opening to keep out tea leaves. Packaging: VERY well packaged inside with thick foam that form-fits the teapot. The inside box looks nice and sleek as well so I was able to wrap it up as is without needing to repackage!
