Great quality. It worked with the MacBook Pro that I have. It's just plug and play, the image quality is the one expected, 1080p.

I often have to give PowerPoint presentations in various conference rooms and I encountered one last week that the hdmi to hdmi port did not work in. My computer does not have a VGA port. I had to wing it and it was not pleasant having to scramble to print out a PowerPoint so I can present what I needed to. I went searching on Amazon and found this. It works like a charm. You need to realize that it is going to take information from the HDMI end and send it to the VGA end. This was exactly what I needed since I had an HDMI port on my laptop. I had no issues setting it up and it basically worked as a plug and play. I recommend this to anyone in this situation.

The old dinosaur PC died, so we replaced it with a brick. No VGA port on new computers. Management didn't want to spend for a new monitor b/c the old one still worked. Simple cable to the old monitor and everything works fine again. Easy and cost-effective solution to get system running again.

Works!! Easy connection to Dell Monitor Mfg July 2015 to my HP Laptop Ryzen 2024. 👏👏👏 just don't forget to change the settings to used dual monitor.

This will *NOT* work for legacy VGA to HDMI because the VGA is analogue; the cable required is called an "Active VGA to HDMI" and it contains a chip set that converts the VGA Analog output to a Digital HDMI signal. *** This is the reason there are frequent returns with this item. It is a quality product.

This is not the cord I needed, bc I ordered the wrong cord.....but if I DID need it, it is very sturdy and nice. I would buy it again.
