Remington ® Sp-399 Combined Shear Head

I’ve had a few of these now and have always been satisfied with the quality and fit of the foil and cutters. It’s extended the life of my shaver and saved buying a new one.

This item appears to be the genuine article and much, much cheaper than you would buy it in Boots, for instance. The last set I bought through Amazon, from a different seller, didn't last very long, so the jury is still out, but on the face of it this appears to be a good product.

This product was exactly what I needed as a replacement foil for my Remington razor, thank you all very much, it now works well.

I would normally have gone to Argos to buy the replacement foil head and cutters but wasn't able to find it on their website in the "spares" section. Although I found it quite pricey, and a new razor would have only cost me about £45, I went ahead and bought this set as there was nothing wrong with the guts "the motor" of my Remington razor. Sofar shaving with the replacement parts has been very satisfactory, no complaints about the quality of the spares.

Bought this as replacement for my F7790, it fits the unit perfectly and with the new blades the shaver is a pleasure to use again, smooth and quiet. Good value compared to a new shaver, which was a considered option but glad I opted for this, my shaver is like new again. Postage was nice and quick and well packaged, would definitely recommend this seller to others.

I am on about my third set of these for an old shaver, why buy a new shaver when you can make it as good as new for minimal cost ? Easy to fit so yes I recommend

The jury is out on this product. The information booklet clearly states that when recharging the shaver, the two green lights are displayed, but this doesn't happen. Perhaps the shaver is full charged? Why not say so? In addition, the power lead which plugs into the charging stand is infernally loose and keeps unplugging itself, so some judicious use of a shred of masking tape has tightened the connection. However, as no green lights are being displayed when the unit is being charged, I have no means of knowing whether or not the electric supply is reaching the shaver. In short, the green charging lights do not shine permanently when the shaver is being charged. The lower green light only blinks when the shaver is in use. Otherwise, the shaver is a robust and well (outwardly) designed product which is a pleasure to use, always assuming that I will be able to keep it fully charged.

My razor required some much needed TLC as foils and cutters were well past their sell by date. Spotted this set on Amazon for a good price. I'm really pleased with the prompt delivery as it arrived within 3 days and razor is now back to normal, only downside is that it's a pound cheaper a week later!
